RE: STEEM: The Time For A Minnow Uprising Is Getting Closer: Overwhelm The System

in #steem6 years ago

I really like the idea behind it.
I just wonder if this won’t have a negative effect on the quality of post.
Just to give you an example: after replying to everyone, I started writing a post. The writing, the search for the right images, the formatting, the promotion... it took me hours.
I don’t have a clue on how to increase the number of posts I make a day that have some quality. I don’t want to write empty posts, just to write them.
I’m afraid lots of people will though, and the last thing we need here are more shitposts...
But maybe that’s just me. There are probably people out there who are less of a perfectionist and get multiple posts out a day.

What keeps playing in my mind is putting up a message recruiting people I trust to form a voting circle. The thing is that most of my followers are plankton or small red fish. Their voting power is very low. I can get 100 votes and still have a payout that is just $1. So I’m not sure this woulfd be a useful move.

Also, I’m very bad when it comes to the technical aspects of this platform. Let’s assume I find some people to circle-jerk with. What would be the best time to vote for each other? And does it even
Matter if no bigger minnows or dolphins would be playing along?

I’m all for it, but I must admit I’m a bit slow when It comes to tactical playing.
I would be very grateful if you could tell me what would be the most profitable strategy :0)

Thanks for the comment @simplymike.

That is why I keep mentioning the other applications. Yes making 4 blog posts a day can be difficult, if not impossible. However, there are other applications that could reach the 3-4 very easily.

1 blog post on Busy or Steemit
1 interesting photo using Steepshot
1 find on Steemhunt
1 link on parley.io that you find interesting

This is an example of a breakdown that could get it there without sacrificing quality (which is subjective anyway).

As for the circle voting, I think that is a great idea, not only for the challenge but long term. All those votes add up over time (along with helping the reputation which is already used on steemhunt.

I am part of the curation trail that @tribesteemup established. Each day I get .001-.004 paid to me from dtube as payout for upvotes there. It isnt a ton but I get it 3,4,5 times a day for votes the curation trail made. In my view, it all adds up over time.

Thanks for the tips. I assume it is indeed doable if using the apps, although searching for a Steemhunt find can take up a lot of time too :0)

I’ll definitely see if I can give it a shot!

Isn't @tribesteemup by invitation only?

And just like that you are at the top instead of the bottom.
:)
Strategy is everything.

Strategy is not my greatest talent. There’s still a lot I csn learn from you ;0)

steemit is a giant game of digital chess. I love it.

That explains a lot: I don’t play chess. :0)
