RE: Chapter 4 of 11: Understanding How to Keep our Steemit and Steem Cryptocurrency Account Safe - How to Use the 5 Different Passwords - This is part 4 of the 11 Chapters (Full Guide) to help new people make their way
Using irrelevant tags, especially popular tags, makes it hard to find good and relevant content.
Please try to use only relevant tags when posting.
#introduceyourself / #introducemyself
The “introduceyourself/introducemyself” tag is for creating initial, first introduction post that tells us about you. Users are encouraged to use this tag exclusively for that, and not to reuse it.
More Info: Abuse Guide - 2017.
@steemcleaners understood! The reason I am using it is because I am targeting the 11 chapters full steemit guide for new visitors, new users on steemit, and minnows, to help them understand as much as possible about steemit and the steem blockchain, and thus make there way on the platform.
If you check in the other posts of the 11 series, I am getting over 250 comments combined on all from this people, and they are asking questions, and learning with this.
I agree with you in this, just a question. Can't things like this be given an exception to the rule, if they are really helping new people? I understand that when we are new, we go to the tag (introduceyourself) to see what others are doing, and to see if our post appears there.
So, when they go, they see the Guide, and it is helping them a lot.
Looking forward to your thoughts. It would be great to get your feedback on this, and for sure I will do what ever your decision is, and will not use the introduceyourself tag for the guide if you think it is doing more harm than good in this case.
