As the Crypto Currency Market passes $100 billion again few people are actually talking about the effect Pension Funds and Institutional Investors will have on the Crypto Currency Market.

Pension Funds are constantly on the lookout for returns and what better place is there than in Crypto Currencies, especially STEEM..!!

When the penny drops, and it will, that Pension Funds will make a return on STEEM this is when the party will really get exciting.

STEEM and STEEMIT is more than just a Blogging Tool, it has the potential to become one of the largest and most powerful Social Media Ecosystems around and few have realised it's sheer potential.

At less than $500 million, STEEM is cheap, it is very cheap..!!

Thanks again for reading.

Absolutely, I fail sometimes to take into consideration the amount of capital some of these massive funds have and are looking for consistent gains. Thanks for point that out Stephen.

It is more likely that pension funds will increase their gold allocation before they invest in crypto's. As the stock market collapses, gold is considered THE safe haven because it has no counter party risk. Crypto's will probably have their day, but not until after the collapse, probably as part of some new global currency.

Precious metals do offer greater stability so these funds will likely invest heavily into them. If they do allocate anything to crypto it will be relatively small in comparison, at least in the beginning.

No!! goyim pay no tax to Israel with gold or bitcoin. Stock market okay! only collapse when Israel want stock market collapse.

Steem is dirt cheap at the moment. Problems with poloniex and bittrex have kept the price low so I'd get in now before the prices take off.
I can't believe the markets are back to $100,000,000,0000 (such a large amount of money in the markets) and the markets are thriving.
Everything is doing well and going to the moon now.
I don't think much will impede progress now as people seem pretty confident in the markets.

I would say the chances of pension funds investing in Crypto is slim. They need a guaranteed return and crypto does not offer that YET.

I believe Pension Funds are destined to failure, as low returns and boomers liquidating at record amounts. As they quote 8% returns, they are getting about 2.5, not a recipe for success, go cyrtos.

All pension funds are in trouble. The governments around the world will seize all PRIVATE pension funds after next crash as they are already insolvent.

And more likely force the pension funds to invest in worthless government bonds.

The pension funds have been buying government bonds for years but the return since 2010 is zero or even minus, so they have had no income or very little but are still paying out a fortune each year.

Not a good business model. Most are insolvent so when the shit hits the fan any year now all will crash and will have to be "rescued" by the governments who are also all insolvent.

Very nice and good post about currency. @naz722

That 100B$ is a 'fake' number. If whole market decides to cash out prices would plummet in parallel and nowhere near that number would be withdrawn

The $100 billion is as real as valuing a bunch of bananas at $5, a car at $50,000, a house at $500,000 and $500,000,000 at $500,000,000. If everyone cashed out, as you put it, in any of these then what you would get will be a considerable lot less..!! Stephen

Correct asset is worth whatever the buyer is willing to pay. But that is the nature of the game, it is continuous bidding chasing after return. Winners are the house (Wall st) with the advantage.

how much dollar am i seeing in that image?😡😣 give me 1% of it i will be the richest man in my state. 😃😃😃

I predict 130 billion on 8th augst???
