I am pleased to say that STEEM briefly passed $2.80 today at 0.00099998BTC with BITCOIN >$2,825.
I am now happy to announce my Year End Target at $4.70..!!

In order to set the target I have gone back to the Support/Resistance back in August/September of last year at 0.0011866 BTC and this forms the basis of the New Target.
Adjusting for the price of BITCOIN which I expect to see it continue on it's Bullish move higher in the second half of the year to finish at $3,960.00.
Target Calculation as follows:
STEEM = 0.0011866 BTC
BTC = $3,960.00
STEEM = $4.70
No. STEEM = 344 million
Market Cap = $1.1 billion
USERS = 385 thousand

I think STEEM will definitely set a new all-time high in USD price this year.
Traders typically like round numbers, your year-end price target may be a tad low in USD price, I was thinking this morning when your $2.80 USD target was realized that $5.00 USD is very possible this year with a target of possibly $10 USD next year (2018). Of course I think this is dependent on growth (new accounts).

This "new accounts created" chart shows another drop off after the latest surge of new accounts. Is another backlog of new accounts forming? Steady new account creation will be important to attaining new price targets in STEEM.
In Clif High's webbot, he predicted ebbs and flows in the price appreciation of STEEM with the price appreciation being related to new account creation. We will see if this pans out.

I think it'll surpass $7 this year, maybe more. It's too unpredictable, there are so many people who could flood the platform here and bring the price skyrocketing. And people are losing faith in fiat fast so that seems to be another factor.
But you're usually right, so we'll see. haha :)
