What is worth more?

After a couple more wines, let's play a game. Pretty much everyone holding Steem and no matter how much one has, is hoping that the value of it is going to go up. The only variation in this really is whether one thinks they have enough Steem or not, not if they want Steem to improve in price. However, getting Steem to improve in price seems like a hard task, no matter how supportive the better community, no matter how much development takes place, no matter that the absolute rubbish the shite is that ranks higher in market cap. What are crypto traders speculating on?

What I wonder when it comes to those people on sTeem who are doing things like buyinkg votes and vote trading to collect Steem coins, is it worth it? Are they expecting that regardless how much shit they do that harms it, eventually other people on Steem will do the work necessary to raise the price so that what they have collected has value?

I wonder how much shit could be moved on from if a small portion of users stopped their shitty behavior and started actually acting as if they want the value of what they hold to go up. You know, just start treating Steem like a business that requires owners that give a shit about it enough to market it, cultivate and nurture a customer base and make it attractive for consumers by building experiences that people enjoy?

Too hard?

Best to keep raping resources and hoping that all of the things required get done by others. They will be done eventually, but it will likely take longer, be more resource and effort intensive and have a lower result due to the increasing competition faced. Competition will come and the first mover advantage is being lost due to assholes who keep sucking up Steem into themselves like Steem Dysons, rather than working out ways to make what they hold more valuable.

I hope Steem does well for many people's sake, because based on their behaviors, many of the people who are here don't have many options in the real world. I wonder what some of these large accounts financial positions were like before Steem. Personally, my finances were in the toilet, still are. I have some Steem though. Unlike someone like this:

Need the money?

Guessing no matter what opportunity some people get on Steem, it isn't good enough to keep putting into the community and holding some Steem. But of course, who knows what goes on IRL. Eventually, all whales in the ocean die, and this is no different for the limited amount of them here too. The next pump some will sell, occasionally, one will need to pay for medical costs, another will have a gambling problem, another will be kidnapped in Argentina or wherever. You know, life happens and there aren't that many large accounts here at the moment, there are far more mid-sized accounts and as the extreme point slowly loses their Steem in various ways, the middle becomes much more important.

When it comes to the future of Steem, with each rise people will sell and those who will sell the most will be those who got it the easiest or who think, this is as good as it gets. Eventually, that leads to much lower peaks and buyers and holders who have a stronger vision for the future for Steem, one that isn't cash out to fiat as soon as possible.
