To Steem or Not To Steem
Most cryptos seem to be going nowhere fast these days including steem.
My kid keeps telling me to go with Dan and EOS.
I think if steem can get on top of the insane signup time without paying, It would help the new user sign up rate..A LOT .. I like the new tools and plugins ... The tribes thing seems to be taking off ! Dtube is getting better but still needs a better search features. I still really hate that up votes on ones posts are not worth anything after 7 days ... really need to deal with that!!!
But its one of the few coins that offers something for its existence like skycoin and monero, but the crypto world is a strange place and usefulness does not always seem to be the biggest selling point for some strange reason! One would think this to be one of the only selling points, but my efforts to understand the course some sail has always left me with more questions than answers! Lol
Well with that said I went and bought 500 more steem lol ..Guess I will wait and see if the powers that be can get on top of the few things that need to be done to put steem on top !
Unlike most coins it serves a purpose!

I see it as a hedge SM/currency. Facebook is still king of social media but they are in decline. Instagram, by the way, is not. Even so, I see Steem as a good investment. Crypto has not hit mass adoption status yet. Steem has blockchain, it's a superior technology and it mitigates things like censorship which makes for a much more stable ground to build a business on.
Libra coin or not, Facebook still doesn't have blockchain,
Facebook is just wrong in so many ways ....And very true crypto is still really new .... and the big one steem actually does something unlike most other crypto projects!

America is sanctioning the whole world. There are new financial institutions and alliances that are finding work arounds. Swift Bank, for example, is history. Countries like Iran and Venezuela are all about crypto. South Korea is also interested in it, although you don't hear about it. They are very interested in welcoming tech startups to major cities.
America is bullying every country with the dollar. When the dollar collapses, so will every other currency.
It's good to be in the know. You might get to fill your boat up with a continuous stream of topless people within the next 5 years.
True the banks will find or buy a way ..one thing I find funny though is we all call the financial institutions American or some other countries bank when no bank has any loyalty to any country .. and every person has to wear the blame when the country's name is added .. I guess this applies to our governments also lol they have loyalty only to the banks....
We saw some horrible news headline yesterday and my wife said that she's embarrassed by our country. I told her that when I English teach for Russians, we often read news and headlines. We also laugh at the absurd propaganda that both "our" countries supply.
"Countries" are a poor representation of the vast majority of people in the world. If the only thing you knew about everyone you cared about was their very worst tendencies and flaws, you wouldn't like them either.
And yeah, central banking is the engine, politics and brand names(nations) are being run by them.
Totally agree !!!! I know people from everywhere and they all agree on one thing the gov and banks need to go !!!!
