Steem stay still?

Hello steemians

How do you think upon steem power down period? My thought is it should be reduced to 1 month or 1 week. We all know that the biggest barrier to gain steem value is that power down time. In 2017 , while BTC got ATH , steem also got its ATH. But now, major coins are up enough but our steem stay still. Steem has users but not investors. Any incentives to invest in steem? How do you think?
