Steem isn't the hottest token on the planet...

I am writing this article on Steemit, and I am a fan of Steemit, but it doesn't mean that I might be overly bullish on the token. Even though I like it, I also see that when the market pumps, the Steem token often stays behind, even though the general market is moving upwards, with the most popular tokens moving fast in the upwards direction.

We saw it during the March-April months earlier this year, that when many tokens went up with 150%-200%, the Steem token moved fairly quietly in the background with smaller gains. And then there sometimes come a pump that pushes the price (and we really like those), but it is easy to see that a Trump victory didn't make the world bullish on Steem tokens...

Of course, if we live in a bullrun for a longer amount of time, then it will eventually influence the price of Steem as well and push the price upwards. It might not go insanely fast, but at least a little bit...

I agree, over the last year the Steem token has lost more than half of its value. A year and a half ago, you could buy 1000 satoshi for 1 Steem, today it is only 230 satoshi. Sad! Where will we end up in a year?
