I was wondering how SteemIt is going to handle spamming. I see the flag but it seems that we should be able to delete comments that are inappropriate. I don't see a way to delete.
That's a tough call in a public forum. But flagging helps moderate if people use it right. You can also collapse and hide comments, but that is only for you, not for subsequent viewers.
