After registering on Steemit, when you wrote the first article, you most likely will be interesting, as is considered a reward for your post.

Let's take a look at this process.

Detailed information more convenient to look at steemd.kom. In the URL of your post simply replace steemit.com on steemd.com.

Top of the page displays total amount of remuneration for the article. Go to Advanced mode, click on link  "advanced mode", and below we will see the number of votes for the article - vote details.

Click on the link "vote details" and displays a detailed list of all the voters.

Each voice has a defined effect which depends on the amount of Steem Power and Voting power user, who voted.

The list of voters column "weight" related to the amount Steem Power, and the higher the number, the greater the amount of a reward for an post. That's because on Smeetit you can find an posts with a large amount of the reward, but a small number of votes, and vice versa - are many of votes, but a small reward.
Members Steem with more the amount Steem Power called "whales", the majority is English-speaking users of the Steem. Because of this, posts written in English more likely to get the voice of the "whale".
But there is one more moment, with each voting user excised energy voice, and her recovery time is needed. And not always the voice of the 'whale' gives the expected result. In the above list of voters present fairly powerful user "roadscape", and the post has a relatively small amount of the reward of about $15. Just reduced energy voices has affected amount of remuneration, to estimate the energy of voice can be meaningfully "rshares".
Also remember, the amount of rewards, the author will receive 75%, others of 25% will be used to reward the curators for their votes. And the funds received by the author will be distributed to the accounts of Steem Power and Steem Dollars in equal parts based to USD.

Good luck on Steem!

As new users join steemit it is so important to have them be able to understand what everything means. Even though I am somewhat well versed, I applaud people helping others and making the overall experience more user friendly. Hope everyone welcomes and helps the minnows trying to figure everything out and realize you were probably in this position not too long ago.

I am glad to help. Good luck!

Keep it up! There are so many ways to add value and when you think of an idea it's fun to share it and make everything better for all users instead of hoarding it so nobody can "steal your idea" it's somewhat similar to GitHub in that respect. Coders are usually willing to share their content, similar to how an artist shares artwork
