As someone new to Steemit, this is very encouraging to hear @hiroyamagishi

For 10 years, I worked as a speechwriter at the United Nations and, one day, I finally quit. Without a job or much money to my name, I chose to pursue my dream as a writer.

This was nearly 12 years ago, and I've 7 critically-acclaimed books to my name (even though I'm starting from scratch, here on Steemit, to build an audience and establish myself).
