Steem is now on State of the Dapps | Cooperation with Steem Apps
I'm very excited to announce that State of the Dapps has officially added Steem as their 4th blockchain project.
Just yesterday, Steem Apps was launched. And with it, also an API to make it easier for other websites to get data of apps on Steem.
After talking with Joris, the founder and backend-developer of State of the Dapps (one of the best sites listing all kinds of Decentralised Application) and introducing him to the API Steem Apps provides, we decided on a cooperation between our two projects.
What this means is that State of the Dapps will use the API to get transaction statistics and other data, which results in a sped-up listing of Steem.
Tomorrow, you should be able to see transactional data and rankings on https://stateofthedapps.com/rankings.
This is a huge step into the right decision, as more and more people will learn about Steem. Seeing how many transactions and users Steem brings to the crypto-sphere is an important tool of showcasing value.
I also want to express my gratitude for @soyrosa's initiative of reaching out to them and for the wide community support Steem Apps launch had.

Thanks for getting this added wolf, looks like EOS is already ahead of us in terms of users per dapp on some dapps. But looks like mostly gambling dapps, wondering if they are real users or just bots placing small wagers to pump up the transactions.

Utilities of Steem is highlighted seldomly due to ineptitude of STINC, thanks to community, things are changing :)

Fantastic news and great work @therealwolf - I've just written about the same topic at almost exactly the same time - I was wondering how they had added 17 Apps so quickly! (Now I know it was you working with Joris)
Should DApp owners be contacting you to make sure their data is in SteemApps first and will this then automatically flow to StateoftheDApps - ie. there is no need for them to register on State of the DApps?
The are some metrics Steem Apps isn't tracking, so at this point in time, it would be good to submit it to State of the Dapps as well. (regardless what I said in my previous comment)
That's great! Joris is an awesome guy and has been in the blockchain space for a while. Getting the word out on Steem dapps is a big part of its future!
