If it's a choice between using a word some people understand, and using a word nobody understands, I'll go with the former. Mana works because it is more or less the same concept, but there isn't really anything else which so easily maps to it.
I don't view it that way but I do respect your opinion. Thanks for your thoughts on the name change.
