Valentin Beach Resort, Daanbantayan Cebu City Philippines

Going on road trips has been an tradition for a long time, a great escape from the crowed city streets , the traffic - whether it's a couple hours to a big city, or a cross country road trip with no destination. Why fly when you can instead take control of the wheel and explore the at your own pace? A road trip is that perfect opportunity to forget all your worries and make memories along the way.

To kick things of with #summergoals, me and my fellow colleagues tried to planned an out of town get away where we could bond as a team at the same time enjoy the #vitaminSEA. There were a lot of choices, budget being one of the main choice on "why this place". Well to make the long story short, after different places that we thought about in pickning. We had decided to go to Valentin Beach Resort in Daanbantayan, Cebu City Philippines.

It was around 9am, almost 10am when we had arrived at the Northbus terminal. You can either ride a Bus to Daanbantayan, make sure though that it is via kawit. The bus trip was pretty long so I would highly suggest to either load up on your playlist or grab your favorite snacks. We had only one stop over since it was around lunch time -- it was a quick one in Bastap Coffee Shop, Carmen, Cebu

I suggest to load up on the water or take that time to do a pee break since its gonna be a long ride ahead. The bus trip took around 4-5hours mostly due to traffic that we had around Mandaue - Consolation. I mostly had fallen asleep during the trip since we were working on a Friday night and had to leave after shift on a Saturday.

We had then arrived at the resort, where you had to stop at Paypay Barangay Hall

The place was breathtaking, it was windy and in the perfect weather to have a swim or have a book and sit on the shore line. The place was pretty huge as well, It had 2 huge air-conditioned bed rooms with a powdered room and a shower room each.

The place was #instagramable it had a great vast view of the beach the sky was just in perfect shades of blue and white. The wind and the sand was just simply great. I would highly suggest to visit the place, with your family or friends.

Resort is "EXCLUSIVE" : Php 9000 good for 16 pax

Bus fare from North Bus Terminal to the resort : Php 185
Vhire fare from North Bus Terminal : Php 170

The resort is close to "Prince" warehouse or a "Wet Market" you can easily ride a tricycle that would cost you 12pesos. Oh well! cheers to more beaches and out of town trips! #roadtripcebu
