It is the desire of your heart that sets the pace for the acquisition of your expectations and the manifestations of the same.

Therefore, I say unto you whatsoever you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them and you shall have them.

Your desire is a spiritual and powerful force that gives direction to your expectation and your expectation in return gives birth to your manifestation.

The degree to which you desire something will determine the extent to which you can acquire anything in life.

Your desire triggers expectation, and manifestations. Expectation as it is being said, is the mother of all manifestations. It is desire of your heart that sets the pace for the manifestation of expectations.

It is of great importance to know that God does not expect you to come saying anything to him, without first establishing a desire in your heart for which you want him to respond.

Therefore I say unto you what things soever you desire, when ye pray...

We can see here that desiring things comes first before praying or asking anything from God. If you truly want to see God moving in an unusual manner in your life, you must always approach Him with a definite desire of what you trust him to accomplish for you and through you.

God relates with his children on the basis of the desires of their hearts.

Delight thyself also in the Lord, and He shall give thee, the desires of thine heart.

God almighty will answer you according to your heart desire. So it is very important to have the right desires in your heart because, this is the direction in which God will respond to you.
