RUN FOR YOUR LIFE

INTRODUCTION
I bless God for the privilege given to me for this word of life to be shared among us. I want to acknowledge every member of this great community for our commitment, the support from our leaders is also one of the keys that kept us moving can not be put aside. May we continue to enjoy God's blessings forever. Amen.

The topic I want to share with us is telling us about the value of our lives. It is placing a reminder on the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. This essence of running is to run for the safety of our lives away from the destruction that will come to pass in the world.

He said to another man, Follow me. But he replied, Lord, first let me go and bury my father. Jesus said to him, Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God. Still another said, I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family. JESUS replied, No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.

EXPOSITION
Just as it was the time of Noah, the people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, they ignored every warning of the impending destruction through the flood hence, they all perished from the earth. Let us examine ourselves whether we are still in the faith. The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah; and the destruction of the people at the time of Noah should be the beginning of wisdom for us to whom the end of the world has come. Therefore I say it once more that, RUN FOR SAFETY, run for your dear life.

Let us consider some different books of judgement. There is:

1. The Book of Remembrance: In this book is written everything individuals have done in their lifetime. It is a record of all doings, all our actions either good or bad. Such behaviors like wickedness, indiscipline and other good behaviors that are expressed in there.
   Malachi 3:16 Then those who feared the LORD talked with each other, and the LORD listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the LORD and honored his name.

2. The book of Conscience: This is the Second book. One of the questions that will be asked is this, "is your conscience commending you or condemning every time to do good or bad on earth"? Your answer will bring judgement.

14 When Gentiles, who do not have the Law [since it was given only to Jews], do [a]instinctively the things the Law requires [guided only by their conscience], they are a law to themselves, though they do not have the Law. 15 They show that the [b]essential requirements of the Law are written in their hearts; and their conscience [their sense of right and wrong, their moral choices] bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or perhaps defending them

1. The Book of God: This is also called the book of the law of God the judgement of some people will be based on the law, in as much as those people operated under the dispensation of law.

2. The Book of life: In the book of life will be written the names of everyone that accepts our Lord Jesus Christ. Those who were not overcome by sin, those who were not enticed by the deceitful things of the world.

Conclusively, we are to get ourselves prepared and guided by the Spirit of God that after we have preached yo people we should not be a cast away.
