Giving is at the heart of life, it is the act of bestowing, impacting and confering ones resources on others. The rythm of life is on two sides, giving and receiving. We should render to God the spiritual sacrifice that is for him alone.

Out of our resources we are to give to the lord the fruit of works of our hands. When we give his blessings are released on us. Proverbs 3: 9-10 says

" honour the lord with your substance and with the first fruit of all your produce; then your barn will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting wine"

. Even among ourselves, we should develope our God given potential and use it to bless the lives of others. Prosperity comes into our lifes when we apply ourselves to the work of our hands.We should also extend an helping hand to the poor and the needy because, they occupy an important place in the heart of God.

Some of our resources should also be given to our parents, sibblings and blood relatives. It is pkeasing to God when we give to our families.
