This is nonsense. The Bible never says that tongues is necessary for salvation nor does it say that everyone has that spiritual gift.
(1 Corinthians 12:28-30 NIV) And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues. {29} Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? {30} Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues ? Do all interpret?
Paul is obviously saying that not everyone speaks in tongues just as not all are apostles. And today there are no apostles, no healers, nobody who performs miracles. If someone had the gift of tongues God might use that to help them understand what someone is saying in Spanish and to help them answer in their own language.
You really need to understand the Bible better so you'll stop deceiving people and causing people to doubt their own salvation.
Visit the Master FIRST so his words may be established for the DOCTRINAL STANDARD. JOHN 3 ESTABLISHES the DOCTRINE STANDARD for the COMMON SALVATION ~ ACTS 2 ESTABLISHES the COMMON EXPERIENCE for the COMMON SALVATION!
In JOHN 3 ~ ...So is every one that is BORN of the SPIRIT! ... When one is born again of the Spirit, there is a SOUND. The SOUND is divers kinds of TONGUES as it was in ACTS 2!
PAUL the Apostle and what he taught in Corinth is NOT relevant until AFTER ACTS the 18th Chapter!
Both doctrine and experience were well established as COMMON STANDARD before ANYONE was saved and spake in tongues for the evidence of SALVATION in CORINTH ~ AFTER ACTS 18!
