The blessings that God gave to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob don't apply to the church. God never promised us wealth, health, power, success, happiness, or influence. On the contrary, Jesus said this:
(Matthew 10:37-38 NIV) "Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; {38} and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
Sure friend, not only should we die our flesh is to take the true cross of Jesus and follow firmly and faithfully with him. For a true blessing to come from God we have to have a true worship to God we must praise in any way, having or not having. Bedding
