SteemChurch - United in Christ
I have decided to devote most of my time here on steemit to promote the @steemchurch initiative by @sirknight.
One of the problems Christianity is facing today is disunity. We tend not to want to associate with our fellow brethren, which should not be so.
How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!
Psalms 133:1
Our Lord Jesus before ascending, commisioned us to go into the world and preach the gospel to all nations.
He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
Mark 16:15
This is our primary duty as christians but we don't seem to be doing well in this aspect. A lone broom stick cannot sweep a dirty room, but with the combination of several broom sticks, a united force is formed capable of moving large amount of dirt.
One popular point of view in Christians today is that:
"I am serving my God on my own by myself"
That is a selfish mindset that should not be seen in a believer. If the early Christians had that school of thought, we probably wouldn't have heard of the awesomeness of Jesus today. They made sacrifice, which is why we have the knowledge of Jesus Christ today. In like manner, we should endeavor to spread the Goodnews everywhere we find ourselves.
Another factor that made the early apostles succeed was togetherness. The spoke with one voice and thus were able to affect more lives. A lone broom can be easily broken; However, a complete broom is extremely difficult to break. Here on steemit, God has appointed a very wonderful apostle @sirknight to lead the movement for the kingdom. I am glad you were courageous enough to start this movement sir and I am fully behind you on this, with every support I can offer.
I call on the believers here on this platform to support this awesome radical innovation to unite God's people and spread his word together, to those it hasn't gotten to.
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.

Nice analysis. Unity is important in God's worship. The scripture says it is pleasant for brothers to serve God in unity. He values an organised way of worship.

Nice post. I don't blame Christians though it's a command from the Bible that we should love one another and associate with one another but the human flesh still dwells in us which doesn't want us to achieve the aim of the Bible.
Personally I will be sticking with the Flying Spaghetti Monster, whose worship has served me well.
I never ask for anything, and receive nothing in return. I expect nothing, and am promised nothing in return. I have faith that I will never be rewarded nor punished for my actions following my death. I neither fear death nor what misfortune may bring. I accept full responsibility for all my actions and accept full responsibility for making provision in time of plenty for times of want. I extend my hand to others when they are in need, and accept the hand offered by others when I am in need. The Flying Spaghetti Monster promises nothing and receives nothing, and I have complete faith that no other god can offer a man more.
You strike me as a very lonely and cold monkey. Let this Knight guess - no wife and no family. No friends. Middle-management in some dead-end job. Enjoy flying drones and using automated checkouts. Am I close?

Individualism is the most radical religion there is. Nihilists are so full of their beliefs they feel they need to preach them with the very providence they deny.
Right concept, but wrong labels. People too often prefer to displace personal responsibility to a higher authority. This displacement of responsibility also leads to a subjugation to those who consider themselves the representation of the relevant diety. Even those who worship the same diety cannot get along. Look at the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim faiths. They all worship the same God, but never seem to realise it.
No. I live in Tenerife, a semi-tropical island that I retired to at 50. I have lived a full and comfortable life, had an excellent career in education, and I have many friends. Whilst I am not rich, neither am I poor. I spend my days drinking coffee and mixing with a bunch of amateur artist. When the heat of summer arrives I move to some places in mainland Europe for a few months. I consider myself fortunate, but I also consider that good fortune to be the result of past wise decisions, not the result of any intervention by a higher authority.
The Flying Spaghetti Monster works for me just as well as any other deity is likely too.
hello @coldmonkey, as long as Jesus still loves you and wants you badly, who am i to think less of you. your flying spaghetti monster which i believe was made by you out of your love for spaghetti will not be able to save your soul eventually when death comes, how wise do you think it is to live a short life that seems peaceful and eventually live eternity in torture and torment, believe me bro if you do not surrender to Christ i am absolutely certain the flying spaghetti monster will be what the devil will use to torment you in hell. please Jesus still loves you, surrender to him.

@tikhub you are absolutely right. This is one of the strategies the devil uses to torment souls. @coldmonkey I'm sure it's not by mistake that you posted this here, maybe God wants to visit you divinely and transform your life to a better one.

That is what we should promote, union and love between brothers as the scripture says, a divided house can not prosper!
