Perdonar no es una opción, debemos hacerlo. || Forgiveness is not an option, we must do it.

The best example we have in the word of God regarding forgiveness and Our Lord Jesus Christ when he said: "Father forgive them for they do not know what they do."
30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, wrath, wrath, clamor, and slander be put away from you, and all malice. 32 But be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.
Ephesians 4:30-32
Surely, like me, at some point in your life you have learned to forgive since the other person has never owned up to what they did or what they said, they never apologized to us, and this perhaps led us to We may think that in some way we are punishing the person who has offended us, but the reality is that this causes harm to ourselves as well as to others.
When a person commits a wrong or harms us we tend to think that that person does not deserve our forgiveness, then we can put ourselves in the place of the Lord Jesus Christ and I ask you the following question: did we deserve forgiveness? of our lord Jesus Christ? This is a great example for us to take into account when we are offended when we should forgive those who have harmed or offended us.
32 But be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.
Ephesians 4:32
Let us remember that crucifixion is the worst method of death, since it is slow and painful, yet I believe that the greatest pain of the Lord Jesus Christ was when God himself, his father, turned his back on him because of us.
46 About the ninth hour, Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? This is: My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Matthew 27:46
Even when many other people were worrying and casting lots for their garments, they overlooked the greatest example of forgiveness possible in all of humanity, when the Lord Jesus Christ said: "Father forgive them for they do not know what they do." I am sure that not everyone knows the pain that a person is going through if you do not tell them, perhaps you are experiencing a pain that seems eternal, but you should be certain that the Lord Jesus Christ himself knows all of this perfectly. His love and kindness help us overcome any situation of pain, suffering and, above all, any situation of resentment or resentment that can limit us for a lifetime.
Forgiveness is a decision that is in our mouths and in our hearts, forgiveness is also a heroic act of healing, it is necessary. God fervently desires that we strip ourselves of that right to punish people who have hurt us, that we begin that change of mentality so that forgiveness allows us to live a full life in Jesus Christ. Do you accept the challenge?

Mateo 27:46
