There are times we create our own difficulty.

There are times when we become discouraged by discipline that is not imposed by God, let us always remember that this is necessary, that God loves us and delights in us at all times.
You have done well with your servant,
O Lord, according to your word.
Teach me good sense and wisdom,
Because I have believed your commandments.
Before I was humiliated, I walked astray;
But now I keep your word.
You are good, and a benefactor;
Teach me your statutes.
The proud have forged a lie against me,
But I will keep your commandments with all my heart.
Their hearts became fat like fat,
But I have rejoiced in your law.
It is good for me to have been humiliated,
So that I may learn your statutes.
The law of your mouth is better to me
What thousands of gold and silver.
Psalms 119:65-72
Generally all the difficulties we go through day after day have three origins. Some of these difficulties or tests are directly from God that are allowed to test our faith. There is other evidence that I am a direct attack from the devil. And there are other tests that are the direct result of our decisions, the latter we almost never take into account.
It is too difficult to endure any test, but I think the worst is the test that is generated by our own decisions since we have no one to blame since we ourselves are responsible for the decisions we make. Let us remember that the word of God is very clear when he says that we will reap everything we sow.
7 Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked: for whatever a man sows, that will he also reap.
Galatians 6:7
