Waiting on God.
LINK
We can have complete certainty and confidence that through God's love for us he will do everything best for us "always."
I waited for the Lord, my soul waited;
I have waited on his word.
My soul waits for Jehovah
More than the sentinels in the morning,
More than the morning watchmen.
Let Israel wait for Jehovah,
For in the Lord there is mercy,
And abundant redemption with him;
And he will redeem Israel
Of all his sins.
Psalms 130:5-8
Trusting and waiting in God can perhaps become quite difficult when the situation we are going through prompts us to do something immediately, we want something to be done, it seems that God is resting and cannot be heard , seems like a passive God or oblivious to our needs.
Learning to wait on God means being attentive to receiving God's instructions while we go through present situations with power, we do this consciously expectantly focused, understanding that we can decide to be still and silent while appreciating the voice of God. God speaking our lives and above all waiting for his divine intervention even if we do not see it.
Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted on earth.
Psalms 46:10
