I AM THAT I AM.
Moses greatness is attributable to the fact that he gave the Lord the glory for everything. By cooperating with the Lord he had accomplished the deliverance of Isreal from Egyptian bondage.
When Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro his father in law and had led the flock to the back side of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb. There the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and behold the bush burned with fire and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
Then the Lord spoke to Moses out of the burning bush, saying Moses, Moses, and he answered, Here am i. Moses was instructed to remove his shoes, for the place whereon he stood was holy ground .it was made holy by the presence of the Lord. there Moses was giving instruction regarding Israel deliverance from Egyptian bondage.
In speaking to Moses from the burning bush, the Lord identified himself, saying " I AM that AM" .the God of your father, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. This narrative is confirmed by Jesus, who used it as a proof of the resurrection of the dead. He explained that Jehovah is not a God of the dead but the of the living.
Even the declaration that he is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who had died, it means that they will rise from the dead, for as Jesus explained, for all life unto him that is unto God.
In the days of Moses, even now, there were many gods but only one true and living God.
That is the God of Abraham,Isaac , and Jacob who has become your God.
God is God, the one who was created by nobody, the one whose creation can never be comprehended and research. He is the infinite God! Thank you for this refreshing message.
