Simplicity is not absence of Power!
Dear friends!
The human being often miss what is very new to him and also takes a while to adapt. Jesus, very wise, understood it and reached each person in their own world, within their customs, their beliefs and imagination. Jesus attracted people and he did it with two infallible ingredients: love and simplicity.
Christ, came to teach us to love the other. To make us understand and be accessible. And, many times, the exact opposite is done; While we are worried about appearing eloquent, we use, almost always, a learned language, and we end up forgetting that it is not the very speaking, or the beautiful speaking, that impresses people, what leaves someone impacted is the love so much that you can transfer for it.
We do not need to use sophisticated language to show that we are Christians!
Once, the disciples wanted to make Jesus inaccessible to seemingly too simple people and the result of this is found in these verses:
"One day, some of them were bringing children to Jesus, hoping that he would bless them and pray for them, but the disciples gave a row in those people." Jesus, then, interfered:
"Do not try to put those children away! Do not stop them from coming to me! The Kingdom of God is made of people who are like children." After blessing them, he departed. "(Matthew 19: 13-15)
Our Lord Jesus Christ breaks taboos, He shows wealth in small things, exposes what is empowered by being simplicity and leads us to understand that the gospel is not something difficult to deal with, it is not complication, it is really a solution! And how a friend would do it: Simplicity is not the absence of power. A message given with love, a phrase said inspired by the Holy Spirit can be more blessed than a sermon.
The words, the moments, the joy, arise from small gestures. They build the future and emanate the power to transform the incomprehensible. Anónimo
With small gestures of love, we can bless many lives! Be a good Christian and be expectant of the BEATITUDES of the Lord Jesus!
Blessed are the humble in spirit!
Thank you ArchBishop @Emiliocabrera for those lines, it blesses my life. God expects us to display humility and genuine love for humanity so we can be able to draw them to the cross. It is not in the eloquence of our speech, rather, the simplicity of our dispositions with love.
I'm glad to hear this, brother, long life for you and your family
Amen. Thank you!

To be obedient to God's is just following simple rules that He has laid down, but many people thinks that Christianity is of difficult tasks. Thanks for sharing
Thank you, brother, how is Russia?
so is my dear brother @emiliocabrera does not need so much eloquence to carry the gospel of God, the only indispensable requirement is to have the holy spirit, he is the one who changes and transforms is not us, we are only instruments of God.
