Today Topic is Agriculture and i choose to write about Wheat .

Wheat is a grass widely cultivated for its seed, a cereal grain which is a worldwide staple food.[ There are many species of wheat which together make up the genus Triticum; the most widely grown is common wheat .

According to archaeological record wheat was first cultivated int the region of Fertile Cressent around 9600BC .

Wheat is grown on more land then any other Food Crop i.e 220.4 million hectors (2014)...

Trade of wheat is greater then all other crops combined .

In 2016 wheat production all over the world is 749 million tonnes , making it the second most-produced cereal after maize.

Wheat is an important source of carbohydrates.
