He is mighty to save and He saves mightily.
Those who will encounter God's mighty saving power must hear something in an ad constantly; and it is the point that most times when God is demonstrating His mighty salvation He employs simiiiet seemingly ordinary means. It was through the rod of Moses that He parted the mighty Red Sea. A stone and a sling was all it took to bring the mighty, boastful Goliath to the ground. Common Jordan water washed away Naaman's debilitating disease of leprosy. And on two different occasions Jesus ted the multitudes out of seemingly nothing.
What this points to is that those who are fixated on spectacular intervention may end up losing out in God‘s salvation package. Naaman was just at the verge ot losing his miracle because the prophet did not come to him in accordance with his perceived protocol. He had expected some complicated procedure coming for him at some exorbitant price. And he made ready for that. it does seem that the more complicated things appeanlo man, the simpler the means God adopts to solve them. What counts is not what means God may through H s sovereignty choose to reach us: rather it is our faith m His ability and submission to His directives that paves the way to divine blessing.

When did God get involved in saving us?

God tells us all that He chose the ones that he was intent on saving before they were ever ever born or did anything good or bad to warrant His loving favor (Rom 9:11).
In fact, He chose them before the created universe was ever born! (Eph 1:4-6).

Why?

So that the Mt. Everest of God's ever saving grace founded upon His sovereign decree might be their unsurpassed treasure and delight that they know of. (Eph 1:6).

What does God really do to save us?

All of God's saving work is always anchored in His pleasure to send the eternal Son into the world to absorb the full fury of God's punishment of sin on the cross in the place of sinners who put their faith in God almighty(Rom 3:25; 4:5).
With Christ's atoning work in view, even

While we were dead in the sin and entrenched in rebellion against Him, in mercy almighty God caused us to be born again by His Spirit (1 Pet 1:3) and made us all alive in Christ (Eph 2:6).
In this rebirth, lord God gives a new heart with a repentant disposition (2 Tim 2:25) and a receptivity to the good news about Jesus Christ (Acts 16:14).
God always removes blindness and enables us to see *
"the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ"*
(2 Cor 4:4),
So that we all are fully persuaded to trust in lord Jesus as the one true Savior and Lord (Eph 2:8).
Amazingly, on the basis of that trust, God justifies us (declares us righteous) on the merits of Jesus' awesome righteous life and atoning death (Rom 3:24-26).
Ultimately God will bring about our total transformation at the return of Christ when our entire being will be freed from the corruption of sin and death as we receive new bodies fit for an eternity in God's presence. (1 Cor 15:52).

One of the endless joys that God intends for His redeemed people is to gaze with ever increasing clarity at amazing wonderful work of saving them and help others out of a sin-corrupted, death-infested environment so that they might enjoy Him forever.
