STEEMCHURCH-IN THE MIDDLE OF ADVERSITY
Those who looked to him were enlightened ... This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, and delivered him from all his troubles ... Taste, and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in him.
Psalm 34: 5-6, 8
Today, adversity is present, and suffering accompanies it. First it is like a small outbreak, and then, very quickly, it invades everything. At first those around us show some gestures of compassion and encouragement, but when the test persists, impatience, lassitude and sometimes even silence are manifested in others.
One feels alone in the midst of his pain, which is why today I want to tell him, dear friend and brother, that although his trial seems long and he still does not see the exit, it does exist! Trials and afflictions do not last forever.
Do not waste your time thinking about the mistakes or mistakes you made and you have confessed to the Lord Jesus, who died to save him from all that.
It's no use to blame God is always willing to forgive us.
At the moment of suffering, take refuge in reading the Bible every day, nourish your soul with that bread of life, contemplate the light of your God, which passes between your real or imaginary bars, discard bitterness, resentment, anger and suffering that afflicts you leave it in the hands of God.
Keep in mind that Jesus looks at you with gentleness and patience, he knows your problem.
Remember This:
- You are not alone.
- The Lord is very close to you and accompanies you faithfully in the middle of your desert.
- He wants to strengthen his faith. Listen to the voice of God who is speaking to you. Reject everything that can keep him away from him!
Do not forget that:
When doubt, fear or anguish surround you, refugee by faith in Jesus, do not look to the left or to the right, fix your eyes and your heart on the promises of God. He will never abandon you or reproach you for what you are.
He is our helper and who knows better than us the affliction we may be going through.
Look at Jesus! Pray to him with confidence and you will find mercy, grace and help at the right time (Hebrews 4:16).

Sister Kenlys, a promise in the Bible reminds us of something important:
These things I have spoken to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have affliction; but trust, I have overcome the world.
John 16:33
Amen like that is, whoever is with me is any affliction.
