As soldiers of Christ, our enemy is not our neighbors but the unseen and wicked powers of the world that can influence people's will to cause great havoc.
The battle didn't just start today; it started many years ago.
SOLDIERS OF CHRIST
As soldiers we've been admonished to PUT ON THE WHOLE AMOUR OF GOD
You're not worthy to be called a knight when you don't have the Whole piece

Put on God’s whole armor (the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies), that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.
Need I remind you that the devil's mission is to kill, to steal and to destroy?.. The devil is against everything good and will do anything to spoil it.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy...
- He is full of tricks (wiles) and if you're not fully guarded, you may fall by the way side and be enslaved by him.
REVELATION OF THE AMOUR
(1). The first weapon is THE HELMET OF SALVATION
- Salvation entails complete freedom from sin, sicknesses, poverty and all the bye products of sin.
- So a good soldier who is entitled to wear this must be TRULY SAVED (to accept Jesus as your Lord and savior, and let your heart match your confession)

With the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation
- The helmet of salvation will protect your head from darts, confusing thoughts, from mind games of the devil etc.
(2). The BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
This is the quality that confers integrity and uprightness of heart.

- Truth is the infallible word of God that cannot be contested or disproved.

(4). The SHOE FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE
- Every believer has been charged with a responsibility to preach the gospel (goodnews) of peace and the shoe will aid in the spread of the gospel.

(5). The SHIELD OF FAITH
- Faith is the main weapon of defence. Because it's with the shield of faith, we block and repel all the darts of the enemies.

- This is our weapon of offence and the sword of the spirit is the WORD OF GOD put to work.

Correct application of the word of God will bring the desired victory.
- There are scriptures that talks about your health and vitality. Apply them correctly
- There are some that addresses your inheritance in Christ Jesus and the redemptive packages. Apply them correctly.
The Right application of the Right words at the Right time, will give you the Right result.
