THE OIL OF MARRIAGE

Every marriage in life has it's own oil. It could be an oil that can effectively run the engine of the marriage, or a bad oil that tends to destroy the engine of marriage.
For the hand of God to maintain your marriage, the following are needed.

Your marriage must fear God.

For your marriage to fear God, you need to invite Jesus into it from the initial stage.

On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.” Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” John 2:1-5[NIV].

Jesus was at the wedding to make the purpose of the father to fulfill.
Problems come when we lose concentration on the purpose of God. If Jesus is not number one in your life, you cannot give your partner a complete love. Follow the pattern of Jesus so as to fulfill the purpose of God in your marriage.

Jesus was also at the wedding because He is the light. And He had to present Himself to the people as the the light which shines bright in every dark situation.

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12.[NIV]

The organizers of the marriage feast were not intending to disappoint their guest, that's why they had to invite Jesus. Men that esteem Jesus cannot be disappointed.

Be wise.

The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered. Prov. 17:27[NIV]

Don't walk like a fool, always guage ur lantern. Wisdom will help u to run your house effectively.

Value righteousness and live that life until your spouse confirms you are righteous.

Love each other.

Always love the voice of ur husband and don't be like Eve.

Respect each other. Respect your marital bed.
