The Impossible! - Corona Virus Series

Mar 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

If we are going to look at ourselves in human terms only, we will never reach the potential of who we are in Christ! This amazing victory that Jesus won for us. Starting in the garden of Gethsemane to the time Jesus put His own blood upon the mercy seat in heaven, Jesus won and paid for so many things for the true believer today. But sadly, often the very things He intended us to conquer come our way and we fail to challenge it by faith in His Finished Work.

God instructs, commands, demands and encourages us to do things that are impossible.

Mat 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Forgive

Sometimes this is one of the most impossible things we have to face in life. When we forgive someone it sets us free. It may never benefit the person that has wronged us, but it has immediate benefit to us. When we hold a grudge is harms us! And when someone has harmed us or someone we love, this is impossible to do. This is where we need faith and the help of God. The very first step is to decide to forgive. Like Jesus, He forgave at the very moment that the Roman soldier was driving the spike in His flesh.

Luk 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Not forgiving others has produced many sicknesses in the innocent party who refused to forgive the guilty. When we don’t forgive we are trapped in a prison that will slow us down our entire life. God even says that His forgiveness towards us is tied to how we forgive others. He requires this of us! It is impossible for us! But with faith and with God all things are possible!

Heb 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Heb 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

Many of us, during the worldwide shut down during the Corona Virus pandemic, have more free time than usual. Let’s use this time wisely and build our house on God’s Word and His way. Forgive! Do the impossible by faith and with His help! Does this person deserve your forgiveness? No! But you deserve to be free to accomplish the great things God has designed and planned for you! Forgive! It is to your benefit and it pleases our Heavenly Daddy.

Pro 25:21 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
Pro 25:22 For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.

Rom 12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
Rom 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Rom 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Rom 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Rom 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

When we forgive our enemy we activate the Hand of God unto that person’s life. We are free! God will repay!
