"And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors."
Matthew 6: 12

The power of forgiveness is one of the great powers for the believer, as is love, the Holy Spirit, faith, prayer, the Word of God and being children of God. Forgiveness is the basis of all healing in the mind, conscience and Heart. Forgiveness is the key to spiritual liberation. When a person has not learned to forgive, he suffers from: resentment, resentment and bitterness, pain. Forgiveness is the key to success in your family, marriage and with your peers.

"Supporting one another if anyone has a complaint against another, just as Christ forgave you, so also do you"
Colossians 3:13

Learning to forgive yourself is also vitally important. To hurt yourself, by refusing to forgive yourself, also harms others. If you do not forgive yourself, then you will punish yourself for denying yourself the good things in life. The more you deny yourself the less you will have to give. The less you have to give, the less you can benefit those around you. When you stop limiting what you receive then you stop limiting what you can give. Everyone benefits when you forgive yourself because then you allow yourself more in your life, and you have much more to share.
When you forgive; you become a better husband or wife, you become a better father or son. When you forgive, you are more open to success in a way that is meaningful to you. As you learn to forgive, what seemed impossible will not only become possible, but may even become easily attainable. Forgiveness is also the beginning of a process of healing and growth. The Lord Jesus, the ultimate example of divine and human forgiveness.

"And Jesus said: Father, forgive them, because they do not know what they are doing"
Luke 23:34

FORGIVENESS HAS THE POWER TO HEAL THE WOUNDS OF THE HEART
(Proverbs 10:12)

Only when we have the love of God in our hearts do we have the capacity to forgive, and when we forgive the wounds of our heart they begin to heal, they are covered by the love of God. He who does not forgive does not allow his wounds to heal, he lives in pain.

FORGIVENESS OF GOD IS AVAILABLE FOR EACH ONE OF US THROUGH JESUS CHRIST
(Acts 10:43)

The forgiveness of our sins is available to each one of us through Jesus Christ. No matter how great our sin is, God's forgiveness is greater than all our iniquities. Then Peter came to him and said to him. Lord, how many times will I forgive my brother who sins against me? Up to seven? Jesus said to him: I do not tell you until seven, but up to seventy times seven. (Matthew 18.21 22).
Peter, as a good Jew, thought of the number seven, taking it as an imaginary signal, to his interpretation, as a perfect measure to forgive offenses. "Up to seven times." That was very generous for the Jew more dedicated and devoted to the Hebrew laws. Jesus revolutionized that thought by answering "no", but "up to seventy times seven." God has forgiven us ALL our faults, and is willing to continue FORGIVEN us, if we ask (Matthew 18: 24-27) How can there be such foolish Christians who would like to limit forgiveness, ignoring that they would be digging their own grave? (Matthew 18: 28-34)
"Therefore I tell you: All sin and blasphemy will be forgiven to men; but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven them "(Matthew 12:31) Here Christ makes a single exception to what sins He would not forgive" blasphemy against the Spirit. "But he says that ALL sin and blasphemy will be forgiven. And in this spirit of forgiveness, we must act.
Forgiveness is immensely practical and useful. There is nothing lazy, or impractical about it. Forgiveness frees you. As you learn to forgive, many problems (possibly even health problems) will gradually disappear. It will be as if you could see your life from above and could see the easiest way to get where you want to be. Life opens up in front of you. New opportunities will emerge from nowhere. Happy coincidences will occur where you meet the right person at the right time. The ideas or the answers will come to you as you need them.
  • Listen again to Jesus:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness
    1 John 1:9
    There is no limitation.

The appropriation of the gift of forgiveness given by God to humanity through the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus on the cross frees us from all complex of guilt before God and frees us from all fear, especially that of dying and presenting ourselves before Him (2 Corinthians 5: 10).
The knowledge that God's forgiveness and forgetfulness of our sins is counted is one of the basic assurances of the Christian. So learn to forgive so that you receive the blessings of God in your life and be free from the bitterness, resentment and resentment that unforgiveness produces.

The Lord is Mighty, He will show us if it is necessary that we go to the other person and say "forgive me, because I have kept feelings of anger and resentment against you; my attitude with you has not been correct"
