Rebellion Against God and His Servants brings Severe Punishment

(Numbers 21:4-9)
The above scriptural texts gave a detailed account of how in those days: From Mount Hor the Hebrews set out by the way to the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom; and the people became impatient on the way. And the people spoke against God and against Moses, and for this they were duly punished by God; the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people such that many of them died. Moses at the end stood in the gap for them, pleaded with God and they were healed and restored So Moses made a bronze serpent, and set it up as a sign; and if a serpent bit any man, he would look at the bronze serpent and live; this was how God healed them.
No matter whatever we face in life, we must never forget to proclaim the words of Ps. 102:2-3, 16-18, 19-21:

O Lord, hear my prayer, and let my cry come to you.

Always remember that the seed is the word of God, and the sower is Christ; all who find him will abide forever.

Will You Die in your Sin?

At that time: Jesus said to the Pharisees, I go away, and you will seek me and die in your sin; where I am going, you cannot come. This the Jews never understood, instead they murmured: Will he kill himself? Christ said to them, You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. I told you that you would die in your sins, for you will die in your sins unless you believe that I am he. He made known to them that he did not speak of his own authority but speak thus as the Father taught me. And he who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what is pleasing to him, through this many believed in him.

Reflect on This

The Israelites were at it again. They rebelled against God and His servant Moses. They were duly punished with an invasion of serpents. God directed Moses to make a bronze replica of the serpent to save those who looked at it after being bitten. In the Gospel, the Jews were again at war with Jesus. They would not accept him for who he said he was. They asked him pointedly, Who are you? Jesus told them that they would know who he was when they would have lifted him up as Moses did the serpent in the wilderness. Through his crucifixion, Jesus would accomplish the salvation of the entire human race, including those Jews who refused to accept him.

Humbly Say to the Father:

O Lord, hear my prayer, and let my cry come to you. Do not hide your face from me in the day of my distress. Turn your ear towards me; on the day when I call, speedily answer me.

Joy helps us to open ourselves to God and to the truth and to deal with human beings without shadows of sadness and with true love. God, infinite wisdom and kindness, communicates with us as a friend with a cheerful face and full of affability. The one who feels habitually sad in the most intimate regions of his spirit has not experienced the fresh wind of eternity. Spiritual peace is one of the greatest assets of humanity, it is the tranquility of order. But the peace that can be glimpsed by those who are little evolved is a shadow compared to the inner peace lived by spiritual people.

Through his crucifixion, Jesus would accomplish the salvation of the entire human race, including those Jews who refused to accept him. take responsibility for your Christian faith

The children of Isreal rebelled against God so many times and this started from when they left the land of Egypt, but God was always forgiving them, but it came to a time when it seemed Luke they weren't going to be forgiven.
As Christians we must not allow sin to take over our lives we must always be steadfast and pray.

We all should. Be careful of what we do everyday so that the lord will not be angry with us.
Gods word is all we need to survive in life and all we need to inherit the kingdom of God.
It contains all the secret to success .
For everything we do or hear should be reflected by Gods word, our life should be of God.
The purpose of Christ coming was fulfilled and was noticed by people who took all they have and all their time to work with the Lord through his word
Paul through his ministry was able to accomplish various task and he made himself a good example if a right fellow .
Do not allow your heart to control how you reason about God and do not allow the work of the devil to manipulate the plans God have for you.
The evidence as establish by the lord passed to his evangelist and his desciples was whatvwe have been believing .
The word of God may likely not be so easy to keep to but your life should at least reflect little of that word of God as much as your life is inclined with the truth and dedication

It is so important that we honour God's servants, obey His commands, and walk in his statutes. There is unlimited rewards for us. Nice one @nutbussy247.

Rebelling against God is never a good thing to do. For the consequences that awaits those that do is very bad.
God is a Perfect and wonderful God, so even when you pass through hard times, doesn't guarantee you the chance to rebel against him, have faith in him and be patient for he knows what he is doing.

There are three types of people found among the children of Israel in the book of Numbers. There are those who defiantly sin and suffer God’s judgement. There are those who sin and then repent whose lives are spared. There is also Moses and Aaron who intercede with God to spare the lives of those in sin. Which category are you in? I pray that repentance marks your life and that you are progressing on in your walk with God to become an intercessor on behalf of others.

Sin no doubt has consequences. The children of Israel did experience this in some ways, but God being a faithful and gracious God did have mercy and took them into the promise land.

Thank God His Son who has rescued us from the nature of sin, and has given us His spirit to live rightly in His righteousness.
