Pastors are the spiritual heads placed over a Church; they perform a wide range of duties, from preaching to teaching, counselling to praying, welfare to organization, to ensuring the total wellbeing of their members. According to our opening scripture, a good Pastor or leader is worthy of double honour. To honour is to hold in high esteem. Honour attracts favour and shuts out disfavor; there is no door honour cannot open no matter how difficult it is. Honour is the key to sweatless success. Have you honoured your Pastor or Leader lately, if not, here is how?

(1.) Give moral, spiritual, material and financial support to your Pastor or Leader. (2.) Defend your Pastor privately and openly from the Alexanders of our days, (II Timothy 4:14-17). (3.) Recognize your Pastor or Leader privately and publicly, and believe in him or her, (I Thessalonian 5:12. II Chronicles 20:20). (4.) Love your Pastor or Leader, (I Thessalonian 5:13). Honour your Pastor or leader by pouring into them your time and resources, in doing so, you tap into the grace of God at work in their lives. Make no mistake; it is to your advantage.

PRAYER
Dear LORD, I thank You for the spirit of honour released. Today, I commit to honouring my Pastor by supporting, defending, acknowledging and loving him/her and his/her family. I pray for increase in grace and all round protection for my Pastor, in Jesus Christ name.

KEEP IN MIND
A good Pastor or leader is worthy of double honour.
