Gods Love For Us

Have you ever asked yourself why did God love mankind so much(you and me),am sure you must have asked yourself. Well some of you might get some answers while others might find it difficult to. Before you proceed i did like you to answer that same question..."WHY DID GOD LOVE ME?".

Well to be honest with you i couldnt get an answer to that this is simply because the ways of the Lord is different from ours. Humans tend to show love to people they will benefit from(myself inclusive) even 90% of the pastors,bishops and other religious deacons show more love and attention to the people who made the most significant contributions financially to the growth of the Church while they barely knows those who dont have nothing to eat.
The conclusion i draw from my second paragraph write up was that the humans love only when there is a benefit attached but going back to my question again..does that means God loves us because of the benefit he will get from us?..then i laughed and asked myself...what possible benefit(s) can i give God?..well there's virtually no benefit..Now the question still remains..WHY DID GOD LOVE US?.....finally a scriptute ran through my mind 1 john 4:8b..GOD IS LOVE..then it finally dawned on me that God love us simply because God himself is love..that it is God nature to love..that Love is God and God is love...we cant talk about love without talking about God and vice-versa.
In conclusion, God love us because he is love and so as Gods children we should incoporate love in our everyday life,we should love unconditionally,we shouldnt love because of benefit(money,fame,sex..etc),we should love to put a smile on people faces,to touch lives and to act as a through child of God...Happy sunday once again steemians..feel free to share your views on reason(s) why God love us.
