Never Be Afraid To Correct

whoever holds back his rod hates his son,but the one who loves him disciplines him diligently.
When your children are being wasteful. your employees are rude and sarcastic. your children are rude to your driver or to their nanny or maybe your parents are unfair to a relative or a poor child who currently resides under your roof and sadly. many of us find our superiority and relevance in unjustly removing dignity from other people. You have a responsibility to confront what is wrong. because it is no longer just enough to know that something is wrong. even the people who do wrong sometimes know they are doing the wrong thing but because they cannot find anyone who cares. they simply carry on.
In 1Samuel 3. the bible tells the story of the two sons of Eli who did contemptible things in God's house. because they felt that as children of the priests they could do and undo. Stories of their atrocities were always reported to their father. the priest but he failed to do anything about it. in verse 13.the bible records that God said 'for I told him that i would judge his family forever because of the sin he knew about, his sons made themselves contemptible and he failed to restrain them.
So what do you know about and you are falling to restrain? Which stories have been reported to you and you have failed to do anything about? You do not have to be a priest.
like Eli.You may simply own or head a school and you allow just anything because you are scared that people will withdraw their children and you make less money. you may have custody of other people's children and you don't confront their indiscipline because you want to remain loved or you just simply are indifferent whether they are doing right or wrong. Bits and pieces. and that is how we go: where we are today. One of these days even Heaven will be fed up with you and just like it was with Eli. God will declare His verdict.
This bright and beautiful day. I need you to realize that in time truth will prevail and calamity will rest with those who try to twist its course. Even the children you thought you were being nice to will discover how you have watched them derail to their detriment and you can be rest assured that they will not clap for you. So what are you going to do? Will you breed monsters that will hunt you and everyone or will you be courageous enough to confront what is wrong in the face and enthrone righteousness?
