In these times we can see how the spirit of orphanage has been taking more and more ground in the body of Christ that is the church, this is because every day has cost us more to understand and develop in our spirit the identity of children that God that the Lord granted us with his sacrifice on the cross. For this it is necessary to understand what we mean by orphanhood:
Orphanhood: Orphan status, state in which the children are left when one of their parents dies or both.
Many of us could think how is it possible that by saying that we are children of God, being gathered in a church, and beyond ministering in an altar, we can still feel that we are orphans but it is possible. Remember that with the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden the spirit of orphanage entered the earth as they were separated from God (Father), between the things that our Lord Jesus performed on the cross, rise and ascend to heaven I leave the spirit of adoption for which we have rights to be children of God. When we know the truth and do not develop our identity as children of God unfortunately we continue to let the spirit of orphanage dominate our lives, and we will not behave as we are completely and we can not reach that fullness we should have as children of God.
Ephesians 4:13
Until we all reach the unity of faith and of the full knowledge of the Son of God, to the condition of a mature man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ
There are currently so many ministers and children of God, without authority because they have not understood who they really are in Christ Jesus, if we do an exercise quickly and we go to a child who loses for whatever reason to their parents, it grows with weaknesses , needs and needs. As children of God, exactly the same thing happens to us. The difference is that God as a father never stops being there, however we develop emotional and spiritual illnesses associated with the lack of our father, only that we ourselves do not accept and we allow ourselves to be guided by the Holy Spirit and therefore we do not allow the spirit of adoption that was given to us to be manifested in us.
We will see some features that help us differentiate the spirit of orphanage to the spirit of a son:
The spirit of orphanage operates from insecurity, as security begins with a SAFE relationship with our Father (God), orphans (or those who think they are orphans) tend to have difficulty hearing from their spiritual parents a compliment, recognition or word of encouragement Those who create the spirit of a son, feel safe in the love of the Father and favor towards them, likewise show their contentment with any work they perform even when they are not recognized in the process, in their heart they know that God esteems their work.
Orphans are always striving to earn their father's acceptance through achievement, career goals or ministry. The children do everything knowing they are accepted and do not have the pressure to impress anyone because they are accepted and they see any opportunity to work in the Lord's work as a delight and a true privilege.
Orphans continually try to alleviate their Separation, their loneliness, their lack of Esteem, their Dissatisfaction, with a lot of Work, with going from relationship to relationship, with a life full of Narcissism (brands, fine, new, luxuries, travel appearances) and self indulgence or try everything that I like or I fancy no matter. This can only be filled by the Affirmation and Security that the Father's Love that God gives us. Those who have the Spirit of children their sense of value, of importance has already been given, they know themselves safe and loved that they do not have the need to Face or Prove because everything has been filled with the Fatherhood of God. All that good, fine, expensive, recognition that they achieve they know that it is by GRACE, AND NEVER BY OWN MERITS.
Orphans are motivated by the need to have successes and recognitions. Children are motivated by God's purpose and call on their lives. Even many church leaders are moved by the need for success and recognition. They only know how to feel good about themselves through external achievements. They are architects of external buildings but they do not know how to build the internal building that Jesus came to shape us. Children have a strong sense of importance derived from God's call and purpose over their lives. That does not mean that they do not have successes or that they are interested, it is only in a different way and with different motivation.
Orphans use people to achieve goals and objectives. The children know that they came to serve to bless the Kingdom of God and extend it. Orphans are always in constant competition with others. the spirit of a son is always willing to bless others.
Orphans always try to win in the church, in their families, etc. because they receive their sense of value and identity by WINNING OTHERS and being better than others. They are very competitive and not very humble. Children continually seek to be a blessing to others because they feel tremendous gratitude to the one who gave them courage and Identity who seek anything to please them.
Orphans receive their first identity through material possessions, physical appearance and certain activities. The children are well grounded in the affirmation and fatherhood of the father that everything material is not so important.
As children of God we have innumerable benefits and responsibilities, being citizens of the kingdom of heaven takes us to a spiritual dimension of maturity and commitment to the new identity that we acquire. Therefore we must receive the love of our heavenly Father, renounce all spirit of orphanhood, cast him out of us and embrace the love of God.
Galatians 4: 4-7
4 But when the fulfillment of time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman and born under the law,
5 so that he would redeem those who were under the law, so that we would receive the adoption of children.
6 And because you are sons, God sent to your hearts the Spirit of his Son, who cries out: Abba, Father!
7 So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if son, also heir of God through Christ.
The Father is willing to give us the Holy Spirit,
Luke 11: 5-13
5 He also said to them, "Who of you who has a friend goes to him at midnight and says to him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves of bread,
6 because a friend of mine has come to travel with me, and I have nothing to put before him;
7 and he, answering from within, says: Do not bother me; the door is already closed, and my children are with me in bed; I can not get up, and give them to you?
8 I tell you, even if he does not get up to give them to be his friend, yet because of his importunity he will get up and give him everything he needs.
9 And I say to you: Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
10 For everyone who asks receives; and he who seeks finds; and to the one who calls, it will be opened to him.
11 What father of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if fish, instead of fish, will give you a snake?
12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he give him a scorpion?
13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?
Remember YOU ALREADY BELONG to someone and that someone IS YOUR FATHER and that father IS GOD.
Well said! Beautiful post
That's how many thanks
