STEEMCHURCH - Moment Of Gratitude

Hey Steemians,

That's me by the way, every single day that passes, i count my blessings and name them one by one. I haven't visited the hospital, i am going to school, i am breathing fine, thinking fine... God has truly been faithful. When you think of the horrors that go on in the world you will see that there is cause to give thanks.

I was passing by the road today, then i saw this man begging on the streets. I felt pity for him, one of his hands had been chopped off and one of his legs too. I couldn't take a picture as it would be inappropriate, but he looked like this

Now, people like this have plans, have aspirations. While you are busy sidelining God because you haven't gotten that huge sum of money, remember that someone in the hospital just drew his/her last breath.

Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!
Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
For the Lord is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.

Sometimes we worry too much about the things we do not have and forget about the ones we have. It is not bad to have aspirations and goals, but we should be thankful for the things we have presently. We need to have a heart of gratitude because our present situation is someone else's prayer point.

In every thing give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

As a matter of fact, thanksgiving or any word related to giving thanks was used 114times in the bible.
Let's cultivated a heart of gratitude because, If you thank God for his finger, you will see his hand.
