A coffee for life ...
A coffee is a good excuse to have a talk -conversation- either at a good time or not so good. You can have any kind of conversations, work, football, news, adventures, of all kinds. For many, coffee has already become part of their day.
Be joyful always, pray without ceasing, give thanks to God in every situation, because this is your will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask according to his will, he hears us. 1 John 5:14
I do not know how many coffees you have sat down to take with family, friends, colleagues, acquaintances and even alone, there may be many, but surely you remember a few. I talked to a friend while having a good coffee, 'that there are two types of coffee, some that last 20 minutes and others that last a lifetime.' I think we have experienced both, because there are boring conversations, and that are forgotten at the moment, others that you remember all the time, because the person is special or because they had a good conversation.
It would be good for a coffee to be that good excuse to talk about what happens in our life, it would be good if we can vent to that person in whom we trust, that a coffee is the excuse to forgive and ask for forgiveness. You can take advantage of a simple cup of coffee, you can turn a bad moment into one that marks our lives, one that makes us happy and be at peace, that is not something temporary.
The time does not matter at that time of being sharing with that special person. I am sure that you are going to have a coffee with that person you know and for whom you feel affection. Therefore, time does not matter, it goes unnoticed because you are excited and having a good time, you share and enjoy everything you talk and listen to.
Now I would like to ask you, how many coffees have you invited to Jesus? Clearly it is not an obligation, you are free to do it, but the point is, to question yourself if in the middle of those cups there is a moment of sharing with the one who has given his life for You, I assure you that with Jesus you can also have the best talks, know him, ask him questions, you can vent, tell him all those things you feel, in addition to knowing your interior and know how to understand your reality.
With Jesus I know that a coffee can last a lifetime, I am sure that with Him you do not waste your time, and best of all, you are available to have a coffee either in the morning, in the afternoon or in the evening, not there is an exact time, but the best time to enjoy it with Him. This talk or sharing we can call 'Prayer' a meeting with the one who loves us, a coffee is the best excuse to enter into that intimate dialogue with Jesus, so you I encourage you to have a good time, a good coffee with Jesus of Nazareth. 'A coffee for all life ..'
Y al orar, no hablen sólo por hablar como hacen los gentiles, porque ellos se imaginan que serán escuchados por sus muchas palabras. Mateo 6:7
So let us approach the throne of grace with confidence to receive mercy and find the grace that will help us in the moment we need it the most. Hebrews 4:16
