Anger, something to be controlled.
Good day brothers and sisters of the steemchurch. Today I want to share some of my thoughts on anger.
Anger is a feeling portrayed by threat toward somebody or something you feel has intentionally treated you terribly.
We as a whole realize what anger is, and we've all felt it regardless of whether as a momentary disturbance or as undeniable fierceness.
Anger is a totally typical human feeling. Be that as it may, when it gains out of power and turns damaging, it can prompt issues at your place of work, in your relationships, and in the general nature of your life.
Anger can be something to be thankful for. It can give you an approach to express negative sentiments, for instance, or propel you to discover answers for issues.
However, intemperate anger can cause issues. Expanded circulatory strain and other physical changes related with anger make it hard to think straight and damage your physical and emotional wellness.
Here are a few verses from the bible that tell us about anger.
"Don't be quick-tempered—that is being a fool." Proverbs 19:11
"A wise man restrains his anger and overlooks insults. This is to his credit." It's in the Bible, Proverbs 16:32
"It is better to be slow-tempered than famous; it is better to have self-control than to control an army."
Ephesians 4:26-27, TLB. "If you are angry, don't sin by nursing your grudge. Don't let the sun go down with you still angry—get over it quickly; For when you are angry you give a mighty foothold to the devil.
Psalm 103:8, NKJV "The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy."
Proverbs 30:33, NIV. "For as churning the milk produces butter, and as twisting the nose produces blood, so stirring up anger produces strife."
Ephesians 4:30-32, NKJV. " And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you."
How can we get over or control our anger?
We can control our anger be relaxing.
Relaxation has been proven to relieve stress and anger and is also an anger management approach.
Carraying out relaxation practices can help ease you from anger.
Take out time to hang out with people and have some fun.
Communicating with others can help get rid of anger. When you are angry about a certain issue, discuss it with some one. This is a means of letting out your anger.
Also if you are in a heated situation that may likely get you angry try to relax and calm down and also listen to whoever has an argument with you. Do not say the first words that come to your mind. Remember that you cannot take back the bad words you say.
It's a normal thing to be on the defensive when you're criticized, but do not attack. Instead, try to understand what the person is trying to say. It may take a lot of patient questioning from you, and it may require some breathing space, but do not let your anger cause a discussion spiral out of control. Keeping calm can keep the situation from becoming a disastrous one.
Our environment can also contribute to our anger. So changing or leaving an area that makes you get angry can also help get rid of that anger.
I do hope these few words have helped you know a little about anger and how you can control it. Remember that anger is not a bad thing but too much of it could be unhealthy for you and a church with angry people will not move forward so let us keep our anger in check.
Thanks for coming around today and have a great day.

The bible says the sun shouldn't set with us in a provoked state. Forgiving people help the clear off anger. Anger is definitely what should be thrown aside.
Uncontrolled anger always brings regrets! Anger should never be allowed to spring out no matter the situation! Find what helps you control yours!

Thank you for this sirjoe. Surely anger needs to be controlled or else it would affect every thing around us and this is unhealthy.
The bible also tells us not to allow a day pass with us still holding on to our anger.
We need to learn to control our emotions and not allow the control us, in a burst of anger or rage we could say things which can hurt others.
Every day we have plenty of opportunities to get angry, stressed or offended. But what you're doing when you indulge these negative emotions is giving something outside yourself power over your happiness. You can choose to not let little things upset you.
I love the book of proverbs because it gives us constant tips on how to avoid being controlled by our anger.
It always pays not to let your anger control you when you are in such a position
Always stay calm
He whoever bears grudges for a fellow man is like he who imprisoned himself for only when you forgive you srt your self free, and whatever we may say when in an angered state have to be watched because it capable of devulging a long time taught which can kill by mere hearing, jesus so much emphasized on the need for forgiveness fo if the father can forgive our shortcomings who are we not to forgive our offenders? Thats why he included it in our lords prayer.
SHow me a strong man and I’ll show you a man that can forgive.
Keeping grudges does not makes you strong, rather it kills you slowly.
Let’s learn to forgive and stay away from anger.
Hmm...sometimes, it's so difficult not to get so mad even when the bible says "We should not allow our anger to see the sunset"
Father in heaven, please forgive me for I have sinned. Sometimes, I'm so angry that I find it difficult to let go.
Thank you for sharing those tips, I will definitely work on it God helping me
