THE GIFT

in #steemchurch6 years ago (edited)

Ladies and gentlemen of STEEM,

'Peace be with you.'

In the worst of post-Hardfork 20 this Knight received a gift.

Someone had placed 50 STEEM in his wallet!

You read that right - 50 STEEM!!.

And attached was a message which read...

'I know you are helping many people in need. Here is a little bit to help while the voting returns to normal. If you need it to run your servers, that is cool too. Basically i trust you will use this to do good.'

Would you give away 50 STEEM to help others?

Well one man did. This man is one of this Knight's longest held friends here at STEEM. He is genuine man and man of honor. A teacher of children. A teacher of children with special needs. He is a husband and father. And he is STEEM's number 1 movie blogger. His name is... @hanshotfirst.

At the time of receiving the 50 STEEM gift this Knight was focused on three things -

1 - Voting.
2 - Commenting.
3 - Blogging.

All to keep STEEM as interactive as possible during a time of hardship for many.

Now however, SirKnight has time to reflect on these funds and how he will put them to good use for the benefit of all.

A dollar a day!

Another great Steemian is @pennsif. Video blogger, STEEM news anchor and interviewer, founder of the @adollaraday charitable giving project - helping to fund real world projects across the globe, via the STEEM blockchain.

You can read the latest update here - however it is 6 days old now - so follow, but save your upvote for the next one.

This Knight has just transferred $25 STEEM to @adollaraday

Please accept this donation of 25 STEEM from @sirknight and @hanshotfirst in goodfaith and for the benefit of the charitable STEEM teams you support.

SteemitBoard Needs Our Helping Hand.

This Knight remembers how good he felt in his early STEEM days when SteemitBoard would come pay him a visit. Ever since Hardfork 20 SteemitBoard has been doing it tough.

Steemian @ana-maria made a heartfelt appeal to all Steemians two day ago. SteemitBoard needs an additional 12,000 SP to ensure it has the RCs it needs to run in the manner it was built for.

https://steemit.com/steemit/@ana-maria/wake-up-steemit-community-steemitboard-needs-our-helping-hand

@ana-maria asked for "1 lousy SP" from all active users - this would easily put SteemitBoard back in business.

This Knight believes @steemitboard to be a wonderful ambassador for our blockchain - so much so he is a little uncertain as to why @steemit is not providing SP.

So firstly - this Knight announces that he will be donating the remaining 25 STEEM to his favorite spiritual institution - @steemchurch.

SteemChurch has then agreed to delegate 25 SP to Steemitboard, until such time it is no longer needed - at which time the SP will be used for benefit the Church.

This Knight will also delegate an additional 25 SP to Steemitboard personally - with the hope that others across STEEM pitch in small amounts to reach that total target of 17,100 SP.

TOMORROW NIGHT - A MAJOR STEEMCHURCH ANNOUNCEMENT!

Sort:

I feel funny upvoting something centered on me... but I fought through and did it anyway lol.

It was very kind of you to acknowledge me like this... but you are the one doing the really good work. You are helping people every day. You put your time, effort and SP into making people's lives better. One of the main reasons I want steem to moon is that it will empower good people like you to do huge things to make a positive difference in the world. I hope to do my share as well. I truly hope that by building up SP now, it will allow us to change people's lives for many years to come.

But I'm no saint. I would like to be able to take care of my own family as well. Steem provides a very unique opportunity for people to do both. They can help their own families and other people as well!

Thank you for all you do to help so many members of the steemit community!

Congratulations @sirknight!
You raised your level and are now a Dolphin!
