The Church!

Before I talk further, there is something I'd like to say... The church is not a philosophy class...
It's not a place where we deliberate on spiritual matters with our carnal knowledge.
Even matter regarding the church should not be handle with a carnal knowledge, no matter how logical the solution to the matter might be, it has to be approached with a spiritual perspective.
We are quick to call ourselves the bride of Christ, but we are not ready to please the groom...
The Church needs the active involvement of the spirit before she can be looked upon by the groom.
The Church without the presence of the spirit of God is an Organization
Because the true definition of the church is the spirit of God, the spirit that made Jesus The Christ!..
If the church wants to please the groom she has to allow herself to be an interpretation of the groom.. And this can only be done by the spirit. The spirit of the lord would make you see with the eyes of Christ.
Let's quickly go into the biblical history of the church, so that we can know where we coming from and know where we are supposed to be as a church.
The Eklessia (the called out) began in the book for Acts 2.
I would have loved us to read it all, but for time sake.. We would pick verses 2 and 42.
Okay let's look at verse 2-4 then we take verse 42 also
Acts 2:2-4

[2]And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
[3]And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
[4]And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

This was when the disciples assembled in the upper room, awaiting the promise of the father.. The spirit of God
When the Spirit of God fell upon them.
He came upon them with a sense of responsibility.
Now they knew that they had to gather. The Holy spirit impartation upon them required that they had the responsibility of replicating Christ.
Their gathering was defined, it was Spirit-defined. They could not have gathered if the spirit is not involved, there is nothing to gather for.
The reason why their gathering was hitch free was because the spirit was involved, the spirit is the spirit of love. The core element binding the church is love(love from above). This is the element that can hold gatherings. Even organizations can't last without love..
The reason why the church isn't living up to its potential is because love is lacking.. The church can't hold its place when love is absent, it would break down.
Now down to verse 42.
Acts 2:42

[42 ]And they continued stedfastly in the apostles'doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

First I told us love is what gives the church live. Because love was present they had the ability to continue.. And not just continue alone, they could continue steadfastly.. That is in desire, commitment and all seriousness.
Now this verse gave us the basic elements the church was founded on.. It was arranged orderly.
apostles'doctrine
Fellowship
breaking of bread
If these 3 elements are missing then it's not a church.

The apostles'doctrine

This can also be called the doctrine of Christ. This is the major configuration the church is supposed to be founded upon.
Note that it was not called the apostles'doctrines there was no "s" in it, it was the apostles'doctrine. Wich signify that it not numerous. It's one. This is because the doctrine of Christ is the will of Christ.
The doctrine of Christ is aimed to make believers become like Christ.
Make believers learn Christ

Ephesians 4:19-22

[19]Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
[20]But ye have not so learned Christ;
[21]If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus.
[22]That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

The true Doctrine of Christ Changes a man, not Compels a man
If we read the scripture highlighted above, we can see that Paul was telling the Galatian church that reason for some behaviors is because they have not yet learnt Christ, that is they have not been taught taught Christ on the syllabus of the spirit
May I chip this in, the spirit is dynamic in nature he shouldn't be confined.
His dynamism is where he can fully build men in the doctrine of Christ, because only him knows Christ better and has the ability to impact Christ in a man.

Fellowship & Breaking of Bread.

I'd merge this two together because of our time.
Without being grounded in the doctrine of Christ, you cannot understand the love of the father. The love of the father is a compulsory syllabus you must learn by the spirit
With love, you can fellowship without stress. Genuine fellowship flows from the dept of love for the brethren and you can't love the brethren if you don't love the father
Fellowship consists of breaking of bread.
Infact one of the major factors of expressing fellowship is breaking of bread. Now when we hear breaking of bread, we not only refering to carnal food alone, but the breaking of the word
The spirit of the lord breaths on the word when the brethren has sincere love for themselves.
And lastly prayer.
Brethren don't need to stress the supernatural when the other previous elements are in place.
The real life behind the scripture that said "when two or three are gathered in my name I'm there" would come into expression. When we gather, we don't stress over any matter, we call on him with an understanding and he responds. Before I leave here, I want us to know that the Lord isn't coming for denominations, he is coming for the church
The article "the" is definite it is particular... So we all have to be aligned in his will not different wills and agendas.
The Church is meant to be the solution to the world systems.. If we are the called out the light of the world, the salt of the world, we are to express it..
The church is a place where perfect men are made to invade the systems of the world and bring down babel and establish Zion
That is the duty of the church!
The church is a medical center where the broken and addicts comes to find liberation. They are not supposed to get liberation elsewhere, Psychology can't help the perverse minds Christ can.

It's time for the church to stop hoarding members, and face the work on ground, equip men for assignments, their real call for duty is in the world systems. We can't take baby Christians there, No!.. The church needs to groom them!.
As I leave.. I'd like us to know that it's not possible for a place to be vacant in the spirit realm, if the spirit of God is not in dominion in a Church, another spirit would take over. Let's give the spirit a say in the church, he is beckoning on us.
