SteemChurch - THE FORGIVENESS
THE FORGIVENESS
Forgiveness is the door to reconciliation in any relationship that needs restoration and the previous step to be able to love one another. You can not love without forgiving. The goal of life is love, if you hold a grudge you can not reach it. The Lord, our Teacher teaches us:
Luke 6:37. God does not forgive us if we do not forgive.
Forgiveness is a balm that emanates from the soul, soul of God. Our soul, as a wife of the soul of the Lord, also emanates that balm, balsam, balsamic oil that, like a lamp and incense, is ignited and burned by the fire of the Spirit and reaches the heart, the heart of God and the heart of man, forgiven, and forgiven.
Forgiveness does not mean always giving in, letting evil triumph, or letting itself be trampled without justice, but understanding the carnal essence of the man who has a wrong approach, a nature that we all have and that only in Christ can be mastered. If we have a clear spiritual goal on God's part, we can forgive all the offenses that are done to us, and we will also learn to understand that those who are enemies of God and blaspheme against His Spirit can not be forgiven. The Master also gave us an example when he dealt with the hypocrites, scribes and Pharisees included, calling them whitened sepulchers and a race of vipers.
There are many daily circumstances in which we will find that we have to apologize or forgive. The sooner we understand that it is an issue with which we will live daily, before we can get used to forgive easily. This for those who are of a merciful heart, but who fall into rancor. There are many who have a violent or selfish heart and can never love.
But let's talk about forgiveness between brothers. In the spiritual nature, forgiveness is the beginning of reconciliation. The Bible says that if a brother has something against us and we have not made peace, we can not come to God to present an offering.
Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offering there before the altar, and go, first reconcile yourself with your brother, and then come and present your offering. Matthew 5:23.
Do not wait for your brother, but seek him for reconciliation. Accept your share of guilt and error and listen to it, seek peace and follow it. If two in Christ agree to reconcile him, forgiveness is already granted also by God and His blessing is poured out on you. If there is a need to clarify personal or spiritual issues, with whom better than with a brother in the faith and friendship of Christ to be able to listen, speak and work for the good of the faith, of the mutual relationship, of the family or of the Church?
THE MAN MUST BE FORGIVEN IN THREE SITUATIONS
The first before God when we accept Christ as our savior and our sins are forgiven. In this way we are remitted the guilt of having lived apart from God or seeking to save ourselves by our own religious merits. Christ carried our sins on the Cross and opens the door to being able to feel the love of God in our lives. If we accept Christ as our savior, we are forgiven and reconciled to God and receive his love and blessing.
The second before whom we have sinned or offended, receiving the affection of the person, but also before this situation we must begin asking for forgiveness to God and recognizing the part that we touch of error. In this way we are reconciled and being loved by our brothers. In the same way, forgiving the brother who has sinned against us, forgiving him in our heart before he repents.
And the third to ourselves, so that the accuser in the conscience stops accusing us and frees us from the feeling of guilt, but does not cause any effect. This is a trick of the enemy, deceit, to make man believe that he is still guilty of what has been forgiven. Christ is our Liberator.
forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors ... Matthew 6:12 reminds us of Jesus in the most famous prayer in history, the basic prayer to the Father, the forgiveness of debts, and these are not financial, but of the soul and the spirit, of the heart. The feelings of guilt are to be forgiven, freed from the soul so that the Holy Spirit flows freely within His temple, our soul, so that the love of God may emanate in us.
Once the disciple of Christ has overcome the enemy giants of love, he can forgive naturally and automatically, like breathing, up to seventy times seven. That is when, as part of the Body of Christ, you can be part of the: ... in this you will all know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another ... John 13:35. Therefore he who does not forgive, does not love, and he who does not love can not be His disciple.
The giants that lurk in our flesh, against which we overcome as disciples of Christ with the power of the Spirit, are those related in Galatians 5:19:
And manifest are the works of the flesh, which are: adultery, fornication, filth, lasciviousness, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, strife, dissensions, heresies, envies, homicides, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; about which I admonish you, as I have already told you before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God ...
Now, if we are spiritual, our attitude prepares us to achieve fruits that often begin with forgiveness as Galatians 5:22 continues:
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance; Against such things there is no law. But those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with their passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Let us not become vainglorious, irritating one another, envying one another ...
