Who fixes steemit.com?
The problems on steemit.com seem to me to be getting worse instead of better.
For example, I go to my replies and see that some of the comments I thought I had already voted on have apparently not been voted after all. After voting again, however, the error message "Identical Vote" appears. And the same happens with posts. Here too, posts that I have already voted are sporadically displayed as unvoted. Annoying and confusing if you can no longer rely on the frontend.

There would be many examples, to show just one I'll take the Fröhlichen Verzweiflungstag (Happy day of despair) by @nerdtopiade. The title fits well, you could also say happy day of despair on steemit ;-)
The correct values are displayed at ecosynthesizer.com:
There are not 7 but 9 votes and my edited comment is also displayed correctly.
I assume @symbionts are using their own RPC node for their ecosynthesizer, which is obviously not affected by the problems.
Solution?
I can only assume that it may be due to an overload of the Steemit RPC or that its database has a problem. Since the ecosynthesizer displays the correct data, changing the RPC node should help. Hence my suggestion:
Another RPC node can be set in the settings:
A change currently has no effect, could this setting option be activated?
Unfortunately, after writing the proposed solution above, I fear that this would not provide the desired solution.
Because I sent a query to api.steemit.com and it returned the correct data! At least the edit of my comment is returned correctly. So of course I'm wondering: why the hell isn't Steemit showing it?
Who takes care of it?
Wherever the problem lies, the question of all questions is: Who is taking care of it? Does anyone know anything about this?
As I wrote above, it feels to me that the faults are becoming more frequent and increasing. Therefore, from my point of view, the problem needs to be fixed urgently.
FYI, I just noticed that it's possible to use SteemitDev.Com as a workaround (at least, for now). I guess that web site is using the steemitdev API.

Hi @michelangelo3, that is something that we were thinking about that everything is getting worse then before. We never had this problem during last 6 years but then it just appeared from nothing.
It is something happening with Steemit, an error that is still persist and looks like nobody cares to fix it.
It irritates when one:
posted and can not see a post for at least 40 minutes
the post or comment is voted and it is not reflected the longest sometimes for days and it corrects only if someone else votes, then summarised Upvotes shows up
the curators of the challenges are missing the posts, I saw many times that SC01 or SC02 pointing to the teams that posts are missing that is often not the fault of users but the problem with Steemit Platform
When thinking about others apps like upvu and Co all of them repeat that error that only means that they are all based on Steemit but not on Steem, because Steemworld is functioning fine and that is only a program that seems working independently from Steemit. Thanks @steemchiller for that.
@steemcurator01 you have many developers and there are many witnesses who do create some programs is there any way to fix that problem at the end?
It would be good to have an update about what went wrong that this error comes out of blue and if anyone is doing anything to fix it.
I do not know many developers but at least those ones who are known, hope they will comment

The comment from @moecki brought some light into the darkness, api.steemit.com generates the errors, RPC's such as api.moecki.online or api.worldofxpilar.com return the correct data.
So, the RPC api.steemit.com needs to be fixed.
In addition, it would be desirable, that the RPC setting is possible in the user settings. This would require updating the selection of RPC's, the current selection contains non-functioning nodes.
I sincerely hope that now that the cause has been clarified, someone will be able to correct it. May your mentions be heard. I have written a comment to @steemchiller, hopefully he can say something new about the current status.

Oha, dann würd eine Änderung der API in den Settings, sofern diese auch wirksam wäre, das Problem beheben? Zumindest für denjenigen, der das ändert.
Wie, nicht so lange dauern? Gäbe es dazu so etwas wie ein reindex, das bei der steemit API laufen lassen könnte? Mit anderen Worten, der oder diejenigen welche die API betreiben sind eingeschlafen?

Ich bin mir gar nicht sicher, ob die Änderung der RPC-Knoten tatsächlich so einfach umzusetzen ist.
Ich habe gestern ein wenig (zu lange) damit mal rumgespielt. Ich habe aber zu wenig Erfahrung mit solchen Sachen. In den CSP Richtlinien muss man angeben, welche externe Quellen kontaktiert werden dürfen. Wenn man den Knoten nun auf der Oberfläche ändert, müssen das die Richtlinien (serverseitig) aber auch wissen. Es müsste im Idealfall also einen Parameter dafür geben. Aber wie gesagt, da habe noch nicht alles durchdrungen.
Wenn ich so darüber nachdenke... vielleicht möchte man bei der Stinc. auch gar nicht, dass die eigenen Server außen vor sind. Es werden ja auch Analyse-Daten übertragen. Die würden bei anderen Knoten natürlich ins Leere laufen...
Wie dem auch sei, zufriedenstellend ist das nicht. Ich habe gestern auch gesehen, dass bei meinem Knoten die Zahl der Benachrichtigung höher ist als bei Steemit... Noch so ein Rätsel...
Das lustige ist, es hat vor grauen Vorzeiten schon mal funktioniert. Kann mich noch erinnern, in der Kneipe wurde es manchmal zäh um so mehr Kommentare kamen, Spitze waren 8 oder 900. Da sind wir dann auf unterschiedliche RPS's ausgewichen. Lang ist's her. Vielleicht ist das jetzt tatsächlich nicht mehr erwünscht.
Hab Chiller übrigens nen Kommentar geschrieben, vielleicht weiß er etwas über den aktuellen Stand der Dinge. Etwas Aufklärung wäre schon vorteilhaft.
Es scheint sich etwas getan zu haben, gestern war api.steemit.com und damit steemit eine zeitlang down, heute auch nochmal. Und tada, seit einigen Minuten läuft es wieder und im original Beitrag sieht es jetzt auch so aus wie du es oben gepostet hast.

Ach übrigens: SBI funzt wieder. Habe in der Woche den PR erstellt. Joseph hat sogleich den Server aktualisiert - schneller als ich ihm über Discord schreiben konnte ;-) und jetzt wird die Datenbank wieder fleißig gefüllt. :-D
Ja leider, so ganz rund läuft es noch nicht. Wenn ich z.B. auf meine Replies gehe, werden mir die letzten Votes nicht angezeigt.
MistSchade, zu früh gefreut. Dachte wg. der Downzeiten schon, evtl. wurde der Fehler in der Caching-Logik (wie Chiller gemeint hat) behoben.Oh wie schön, hei, das freut mich! Hab dir gleich als Test ein SBI geschickt, wenn es angekommen ist, müsstest du 189 Units haben. Soweit ich weiß, läuft der Abgleich alle 3 Stunden oder so...
Ich vermute (hoffe) mal, Joseph hat sich mit ein "paar" Bonus Units erkenntlich gezeigt - war ja kein einfacher Ritt ;-)

I really like the work the Gorilla is doing to freshen up the front end which is long overdue, but it will still come from a dodgy as backend.

@dotwin1981 also told me that their is a problem with the rpcs and that his post is showing on steemit after 20 minutes .
