RE: Nobody likes to be told the truth

It's always good to read about a subject from different angles. One-sided stories, linear perspectives, and too many positivities are boring. A hint of controversy, a dash of negativity, and penning down the unspoken truths, make a piece of writing unique and help it stand out.

I loved your recent travel blogs. They were different and interesting. I'm sure if you opt writing as a career, you'd do great.

Oh, thanks for the compliment! I would even write in the post that what makes a post boring for me is the facts about the place, for example too much data taken from Wikipedia. Yes, that might be informative and even helpful to the reader, but it's hardly what they want to find right here. These things are sought elsewhere. Well, I think so for my own reassurance of course.😄

It depends on the purpose of the post. As long as what you intend to do with your post... anything is allowed.

Some people do like to read facts and Wikipedia kinds of posts. This reflects in their writing style too. Sometimes certain kind of blogs need to be practical and informative regardless of the personal preferences of the author.

As for me, I'm more like you. I like the mix of both while I write mine, perhaps I focus more on my personal blabbering than facts. 😆

Edited to add: Blabbering part is for me. What you write is meaningful and thought provoking. I wanted to clarify.
