Make Easy Money from Home During the COVID-19 Lockdown: Slice the Pie!
Given that many people are suffering from lack of employment and funds right now during the COVID-19 economic shutdown, I wanted to suggest this website for anyone who is interested in making some money while stuck at home.
Having recently lost my job due to the Coronavirus lockdown, I started searching for websites that pay for completing tasks in attempts to make some money from home. I tried out some of them but found that they either had too low of a payout, were too much hassle to use, or had a very limited amount of work available. My criteria was to look for something where I could do as much work as I wanted, with the highest possible payout, that is easy to sign up for without requiring large amounts of initial time investment, are not scams, and, most importantly for me, had tasks that were easy enough to complete so that I work while listening to a lecture/video/music in the background at the same time.
Therefore, I settled on this website I found called Slice the Pie. You don't make too much, but if dedicated, you can make a decent amount, and all things considered it seems like the best option out there right now.
The premise is that you get paid to write short reviews on music clips you listen to, on clothing brands, or by doing surveys, all depending on your preference. Your payment depends on your "star level", which is based on the quality of your reviews and the amount of work you do. The average payment I found is about 4 cents per review at standard rates for a three star reviewer, but each review takes only about 2 min to complete and there are times when bonus and top rates are available. Also, it is quite easy to get 5 stars, which averages around 6-7 cents per review, just make sure your reviews are detailed and specific. Some surveys offer 10-12 cents, others 20, I've even seen as high as 30 cents, therefore all in all after trying it for a while I found that I can make about 1-2$ an hour with minimal effort at my current star level. Cashing out is simple, they simply add to your account immediately after completing a review and the payout is directly to PayPal in USD so long as your balance is equal or more than 10$ USD. Therefore, for people from countries where the USD is worth a lot compared to their local currency, this could make it significantly more worthwhile for you.
A few cents per review doesn't sound like much, but if you are only doing this when you are listening to Youtube lectures or otherwise doing some leisurely activity, it is better than just sitting there doing nothing, and it actually adds up to a decent amount if you think that only an hour a day would be around 365-730$ a year. Of course you can do more than that, but the work does get a bit monotonous and tiresome, though if you get tired of reviewing music you can always switch to reviewing brands, fashion, or doing surveys (which pay the most).
Finally, if you refer people you can also make 20% of whatever they make during the first 60 days and 10% after that for a year. For those who have spare time and could use the money, this might actually be an interesting option for them.
