Free Stuff

Sometimes you get more than a little exercise on a walk and yesterday was just like that, i wasn't going to go around the block again but mid afternoon i thought Fuck it i am!

While going around my usual 3.5K block i saw someone had put some items out by the road's edge, this normally means they are free.

So i wiggled my arse home quickly and got the car, then went and grabbed both of these pots with plants already in them.

I was thinking these could go on either side of the garage door as they are, however i got overruled🙄🙄 and a new plan was hatched.

Both of the plants were removed from the pots and planted along our fence line, one was quite hard to get out but it finally came out.

After the two existing plants were removed we also removed all of the soil and added new soil plus a couple of new plants.

So nothing like some free stuff and i think they look good, once the plants grow more they will look even nicer.

I started today with a 5K walk and then we went to the supermarket to get our weekly groceries, then once back home it was time for a bike ride

Today's ride was done in warm sunny conditions with minimal wind, i rode today for 1hr 48m and managed 37.51 kilometers.

With todays ride this now leaves me 34 kilometers to ride over the last 2 days of the year, another day like today tomorrow and i will have reached 1000 kilometers in the month of December 2024.

I am about to go for a walk around the block as who knows what i may find LOL.
