Work in Progress : Connecting STEEMIT with my forthcoming Unique Style Restaurant!!!
Greetings of the day beautiful world of Steemit!
Hope you are all doing great!
Oh wow! It's been quite a long time since I last gave an update on my forthcoming restaurant!
The reason why!!!???
Oh well...the project got bigger and work is still in progress!
Having said that, please note that on top of the restaurant renovation + new kitchen, me and my team are catering on a daily basis for around 100 people. So yeah...I've been super busy as usual.
But despite everything, I do check my blog quite often and read the news here and there to stay informed of new developments on the Steemit Blockchain.
Let's get back to my restaurant...
Works started 4 months back and you can see my first post on the renovation by clicking here!
I finally decided to renovate the full thing...and make the restaurant bigger where we will easily be able to accommodate around 35 people one sitting once we reopen!
It was only 15 seats in the past!
Everything is being created and build on site...
This was my main condition with the contractor...I wanted to see everything made in front of me!!! All tables, chairs, shelves...everything!!!
Things are going on smoothly...
We still have a lot of do before I can start with the finishing touch.
The finishing touch will be the branding of the place!
Blending My Steemit Blog with my Restaurant!!!
I wanted to read your views on this idea that I have decided to launch...
After some long weeks/months if not years of thoughts, I came to the conclusion, that ; as I have been on the Steemit Platform since 2017 and have met with real success in here, I want to help others join in and maybe meet with the same success of even bigger than me.
And the best way to make people know about the greatness of Steemit Blockchain is to have my blog name as my restaurant name : PROGRESSIVECHEF - Powered by Steemit!
I have someone who is working on the logo and design and once ready I will share with you all.
In the meantime...
It would be great if the Steemit Team could help me out with some branding materials that I can use to place all around the restaurant.
Ps. I am even looking at having my plates and glasses branded with the Steemit Logo - The question is : Am I allowed to do so!???
Please let me have your views and advise...
Quick Update on funds I already spent on the renovation...
Just for my Steemians friends to get an idea, I am really going quite big with the project.
Everything you saw in the photos I shared above already cost me 16,000 USD (Walls, Tables, Chairs, Electric Works)
I have a budget around 40,000 USD for the full kitchen, works which will start most probably by mid December.
And by the end of all works, I believe I will spend nearly 65,000 USD.
I am doing all this with love and passion and I really want to showcase Steemit mainly at my restaurant!
Now I want to read from you...
More on the concepts and menus etc... will come as we come near the opening.
