Introducing #Steemfair and #Steemfair-UK
As an advocate of Blockchain Technology and the mass adoption of Cryptocurrencies, I have been educating people over the last 4 years how these two are set to change, not only the Financial Industry, but the pure fabric of Society over the next decade.
Following the successful roll out of Promo-UK and #Promo-Steem, a Global recognised tag to capture the crowd-sourced Marketing and Promotional Initiative for the Marketing and Promoting of #Steemit and the #Steem Blockchain, I would like to introduce you to the concept of #Steemfair-{your country}.
#Steemfair is an Event to bring awareness of: Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, #Steemit and the #Steem Blockchain to the public, ready for mass adoption.

#Steemfair vs. Steemfest
The idea behind #Steemfair is to leverage the success of Steemfest organised by @roelandp, by rolling Steemfest out into any Country, with the sole purpose of mainly educating new people who are still learning about Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, #Steemit, the #Steem Blockchain and more importantly Smart Media Tokens.
Seminars, Workshops, Stalls and Tables
The concept behind #Steemfair is that it would be a single event over a day(s)/night(s) depending on the perceived demand of the venues location and would hold a mix of: Seminars, Workshops, Stalls and Tables as the organiser sees fit.
As well as Seminars and Workshops, existing #Steemit Users may wish to showcase their #Steemit Account at a #Steemfair Event to promote themselves and their own account.
Should this do what I think it will, then #Steemfair will become the voice of the #Steemit Community as it reaches out in preparation for mass adoption of not only Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, #Steemit, the #Steem Blockchain and Smart Media Tokens, but a complete new way of looking at Social Media..!!

Over the next few weeks I will look at a various options of a venue to hold the first #Steemfair-UK and in the meantime I would love to hear what you think of the idea.
For me it is all about educating the public on Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, #Steemit and the #Steem Blockchain and I think an event like #Steemfair that can be replicated in any Town, City or Country, tailored by demand, would be a game changer for the #Steemit Community.

Over the last 10 months promoting #Steemit and the #Steem Blockchain, starting off with #Promo-UK and then rolling out #Promo-Steem, it has evolved naturally that there is a market to fill in the gap between #Steemfest organised by @roelandp and the promotional days and presentations/podcasts/tv/interviews we do to promote #Steemit and #Steem.
The idea of #Steemfair will be to educate new users to #Cryptocurrency, #Steemit and #Steem, at the same time as providing existing users on #Steemit to showcase their accounts.
As the #Steemit community grows and more people become aware of Cryptocurrencies, I strongly believe that there is a great opportunity for the #Steemit Community to engage with the masses and #Steemfair will be a mechanism that will allow anyone, in any Country and anywhere in the World to see these events not only being held but to see how they are put together.
Over the last few days I have been putting together some budgets for venues / promotional material and would be happy to share with you some of the ideas I have in mind.
Basically, I am thinking of an Event that will be a mix of Seminars, Workshops, Presentations, Stalls, Tables, Showcasing Accounts, On-boarding New Users, Promotions etc...
It would be great to have a Skype Chat in the next few days once I have got a feel for the first venue location and speakers etc.

Hi @stephenkendal ! This is a huge concept and huge project too, very connected with promo-steem but as you say, a similar look to steemfest but expanded to every single country a steem ambassador would be willing to promote.
Great initiative, because people who do so, and later post, will get rewarded, and this will help them compensate the costs inqured in the promo event. Also, would some people with fewer resources be able to apply for a micro loan to make the event possible, before getting the rewards after posting about it?
By the way, I posted almost simultanously with this post you made, a post regarding a "Steemit (For the Freedom of People) Awareness Tour" that could be made by @dannyshine if he likes the idea.

Is it okay if you give us a link to some info about blockchain and ctypto...just a summary
thats great and really good to know this great idea and sure it will be work good and will give the best result and also the seminar and workshops if the educated people include in this seminars it will be more good and sure it will bring awairness blockchains crypto and specially steem and steemit and i think many people agree to join steemit when we tell them as compare to other blockchains @stephen bcz the steem is really an attractive blockchain

and i also think its really good idea and also time to bring awairness in people and more need to bring awairness in educated persons like professors doctors and some others bcz i notice that the educated people still think that thes blockchains system is only frod and they believe on job still and also in those who want to intrest in invest for some business, and this micro business is a good oppurtunity for all them if they understnd it

Your way of motivating people and arranging events to promote steemit platform is really huge achievement and remarkable.
I wish you come In my country and arrange a seminar and bring awareness to the people who are unknown to this network.

I think this is a timely Idea. I have recently joined steemit, and trying to get folk to come here from main stream music sites has been somewhat tricky to say the least.
Raising awareness of the world of cryptocurrency whilst integrating Steem within that package would be a wonderful initiative.
