Utan Bisaya (Mixed Vegetables Soup)

I will share with you on how to cook utan bisaya, the famous healthy dish for Filipino families..

It has a lot of health benefits.

Here’s the ingredients;

  1. Red Squash
  2. White Squash or Upo
  3. Gabi
  4. Sikwa
  5. Okra
  6. Eggplant
  7. Malunggay or Moringa
  8. Alugbati or local spinach
  9. Spring beans

Spices are:

  1. Tomato
  2. Spring onions
  3. Ginger
  4. Garlic
  5. Onions
  6. Salt
  7. Msg or Ajinomoto

Fried fish

How to Cook;

  1. Put enough water in the sauceapan. Let it boils.
  2. Set at medium fire.
  3. When the water boils, simmer the red and white squash and gabi
  4. Add the remaining ingredients except for malunggay and alugbati
  5. When all the vegetables are tender add the fried fish to add flavor
  6. Seasoned with salt and msg
  7. Add the malunggay and local spinach and turn off the fire.
  8. Let the remaining heat cook the green leafy vegetables.
  9. Taste if flavor is fine
  10. Serves while the soup is hot.
